Q. 6 M - Measurable, A goal which can be calculative like how much, how many 2

Q. 7 interest : 2
 The desire to know or we can say that to learn more about something or
about someone.
 If anyone is interested for something or regarding anything that makes
their interest.
 The amount of money that is paid for the use of someone else's money is
also known as interest.
2) abilities:
 Having the ability or knowledge to do something or anything.
 Capability, or the word can be potential, and capacity are all the synonyms
for ability. It assesses that whether or not you have the main of the
necessary resources to complete a task.
 Personal skills are skills that enable people to engage positively with one
another. Personal skills, often known as interpersonal or people skills, are
soft talents.

Q. 9 2
A person who becomes an entrepreneur goes through a career process. This
process is as follows:
ENTER
When an entrepreneur is starting, they are just entering the market to do
business.
For example, Sanjana is starting a small grocery store in a locality.
SURVIVE
There are many entrepreneurs in the market. The entrepreneur has to remain in a
competitive market.
For example, there are many other grocery stores in the area. Yet, Sanjana’s store
survives the competition and does well. She also expands the store to two more
floors.
GROW
Once the business is stable, an entrepreneur thinks about expanding his or her
business.
For example, after five years, Sanjana has opened a chain of four more grocery
stores in the same city. In the next two years, she plans to expand to tow other
cities.

Q. 10 “Entrepreneurs help society”. 2

Entrepreneurs have a positive relationship with society. They make profits through
activities that benefit society. Some entrepreneurs work towards saving the
environment, some give money to build schools and hospitals. This way, the
people and area around them becomes better.

Answer any 4 out of the given 6 questions in 20 – 30 words each (2 x 4 = 8 marks)

Q. 11 Machine Learning bias, also known as algorithm bias or Artificial Intelligence bias, 2
refers to the tendency of algorithms to reflect human biases. It is a phenomenon
that arises when an algorithm delivers systematically biased results as a
consequence of erroneous assumptions of the Machine Learning process.
For example, Amazon found out that their AI recruiting algorithm was biased
against women. This algorithm was based on the number of resumes submitted
over the past 10 years and the candidates hired. And since most of the
candidates were men, so the algorithm also favored men over women.

Q. 12 AI machines are performing some operations accurately compared to human 2

beings. So in such fields machines are better than human beings which take away
many jobs from human being. Which is creating unemployment. At the other
hand it is creating jobs for trained people. So ethically it creates employment.

Q. 13 Problem Scoping: 2
Problem Scoping refers to understanding a problem finding out various factors
which affect the problem, define the goal or aim of the project. The 4W’s of
Problem Scoping are Who, What, Where, and Why. This 4Ws helps in identifying
and understanding the problem in a better and efficient manner.

Q. 14 2
1. Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
2. Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads.
3. To me a lush carpet of pine needles or spongy grass is more welcome than the
most luxurious Persian rug.

Q. 15 Big data is a term which is used to denote a collection of large and complex 2
datasets which are beyond the ability to manage with traditional software
systems. These data are mainly unstructured and semi-structured data such as
text files, video and audio files etc.

Q. 16 Supervised learning is the machine learning task of learning a function that maps 2
an input to an output based on example input-output pairs.A wide range of
supervised learning algorithms are available, each with its strengths and
weaknesses.
Unsupervised learning is a type of machine learning that looks for previously
undetected patterns in a data set with no pre-existing labels and with a minimum
of human supervision.
Answer any 3 out of the given 5 questions in 50– 80 words each (4 x 3 = 12 marks)

Q. 17 a) Accuracy: It is defined as the percentage of correct predictions out of all the 4

observations.
Accuracy = (Correct Predictions / Total Cases) X 100% = ((TP + TN) / (TP + TN + FP
+ FN)) x 100%
= ((50 + 20) / (30 + 20 + 10 + 20) ) x 100% = (70 / 80) x 100% = 0.875
b) Precision: It is defined as the percentage of true positive cases versus all the
cases where the prediction is true.
Precision = (True Positive / All predicted positives) X 100% = TP / (TP + FP) x 100%
= 30 / (30 + 20) = 30/50 = 0.60
c) Recall: It is defined as the fraction of positive cases that are correctly identified.
Recall = True Positive / (True Positive + False Negative) = TP / (TP + FN)
=30 / (30 + 10) = 30 / 40 = 0.75
d) F1 Score: It is identified as the measure of balance between precision and
recall.
F1 Score= (2 x precision x recall / (precision + recall) = 2 x 0.60 x 0.75 / (0.60+ 0.75)
= 0.9 / 1.35=0.67
Therefore,
Accuracy = 0.875
Precision = 0.60
Recall = 0.75
F1 Score = 0.67
By this results, recall is not good evaluation metric it needs to improve more. Two
conditions are very risky here:
1) False Positive: Suppose if we see the above confusion matrix for the heart
attack cases then a person is predicted with heart attack but does not have heart
attack in reality.
2) False Negative: A person is predicted with no heart attack but in reality person
is suffering from the heart attack.

Q. 18 1. Tokenisation 4

4. Stemming/Lemmatisation

akash, like, play, football, ajay, prefer, play, online, game
Q. 19 4
1. Search Engines – Search engines like google, bing etc use AI to display data.
2. Virtual Assistants – Virtual Assistance such as Apple Siri, Amazon Alexa etc. do
a lot of tasks on a single command
3. Navigation – Navigation apps google map helps user to find the right path for
travelling
4. Online Shopping – The e-commerce website keep track of orders given by
customers and help them for better shopping experiences
5. and etc. (Many such applications can be considered.)

Q. 20 Write short notes on any 2 of the following: 4

a) Sentiment Analysis:
Sentiment analysis, also referred to as opinion mining, is an approach to
natural language processing (NLP) that identifies the emotional tone behind a
body of text. This is a popular way for organizations to determine and
categorize opinions about a product, service, or idea.
b) Text Summarisation:
It is the process of accessing a specific, important piece of information from a
huge knowledge base. Automatic summarization is especially relevant when
used to provide an overview of a news item or blog post, while avoiding
redundancy from multiple sources and maximizing the diversity
of content obtained.
c) Predictive Texts:
Predictive text is an input technology that facilitates typing on a device by
suggesting words the user may wish to insert in a text field. Predictions are
based on the context of other words in the message and the first letters
typed. In a text prediction task, a sentence, or series of words, is presented to
a prediction model. The model's task is to then present the word or words
with the highest probability of following the initial series to the user.

Q. 21 Features of neural network are as follows: 4

1. They are modelled on the human brain and nervous system.
2. Neural networks are capable to extract information without user
input.
3. Every neural network is essential in a machine learning.
