citrate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride,
calcium lactate, magnesium carbonate and
flavouring.

Sugar Its presence is both functional and to provide flavour, ensuring

Sodium Citrate  as a flavor adjunct, to improve taste

buffering and preservative enhancement
 as a chelating agent to improve the action of
antioxidants
Sodium Chloride acts as a preservative against microbial spoilage by reducing the
water activity.
 Potassium flavor enhancer, flavoring agent, nutrient supplement, pH
Chloride control agent, and stabilizer or thickener.
Calcium Lactate used to stabilize, thicken, add flavor.
Magnesium as a carbonate source in soft drinks.

From the survey that I got, it is known that pocari sweat consists of several sizes, which are sold in
bottles, there are 2L, 500 ml, and 350 ml. Sold in cans 330 ml. Sold in sachets 15g (powder). Pocari is also
easily absorbed by the body, because this product is an isotonic drink that has balanced water,
electrolytes (ions), and sugar so that it has the same osmolality as the intestines and blood. The content
of sugar and ions (sodium) in this pocari drink can increase the absorption of water in the intestines. In
addition, there are not many food additives used. Pocari has included the logo “Healthy Choice” because
it has a sugar content of < 6 g/ 100 ml and no artificial sweeteners.

Pocari Sweat in a very sterile and very clean place. I once made a factory visit to one of the pocari sweat
factories in Indonesia. There we can see the process of making this product, the quality is guaranteed
because the place is so clean.

This pocari is more popular than other isotonic drinks because the brand is already well-known in
several countries. Pocari can be consumed to replace lost body fluids, it cannot be consumed
continuously, especially for people with hypertension. For the price, I can say it is affordable, judging
from the advantages if we consume it.
