Country Stands Against Corruption but is the movement a Niggle.....

The famous movement of Jan Lokpal Bill commenced in Jantar Mantar, New Delhi few days
back which the people famously called “Second Independence Movement.....” led by Mr. Anna
Hazare who declared fast until  death for the people of India who are sick and tired of corrupt
politicians and bureaucrats.
My friend from Delhi called me the day when this movement started and was proud to be one of
the active members of this movement. This was a proud moment for me as well to have been in a
company of people like my friend who being a civilian is active to fight against the menace of
the society. He updated me every day about the happenings right from the media reports well
before being telecasted on the television like government has agreed to three out of five demands
or four and finally WE WON a day before Mr. Ana Hazare broke his fast on 9th April, 2011. All
the peaceful candle march which started from India Gate and ended in Jantar Mantar was well
explained to me by him. Every day the number of people participating in the movement
increased manifold.
Please see my friend’s postings on his networking profile which I am picking and posting here as
it is...
“Look at this old man who is well in his 80's came to Delhi to participate in Fight Against Corruption
movement started by Mr. Anna Hazare....When I kept my hand on his shoulders I felt he is feeling the
weight of my hand, from his eyes I could make out he is suffering from cataract and is not able to see us
clearly....He talked about BPL policies of the govt., Land Acquisitions by rich from the poor farmer and
many other issues and at the end he said "We are riding on the back of you youngsters, help us see a neat
and clean country, please come again tomorrow....." I will go to join the protest against the corrupt
politicians and many other officers on whose mercy our country's bright or dark future is depended
on......I am going again tomorrow.....
People, the time is right to come out of your comfort zone and join hands against the system which is
corrupt rich rather I would say the richest. Please don't sit at home and enjoy watching news on
television and participate in healthy debate at home with family and friends.
I am not going to let my spirit die, I want to see my country to get the well deserved and hard fought due,
we common people who work day and night to see India as a Global Power see nothing when it comes to
economic growth the way it should have been benefiting the common people as well but our money being
used to build scams after scams after scams and then again another scam. Common Wealth Games, 2G
scam, Adarsh scam......I feel even there could be scam now in weather department of India or else may be
the govt. officials in weather department could be cursing their fate since the scope is minimal to make
easy money and might be looking opportunity elsewhere.
While coming back home from an auto tonight, the policemen took 50 rs and then let go the poor auto
driver. Where are we heading for????? I guess to be a world news that India is a great country where
corruption is at its peak but yet the beautiful fact is that we are surviving. Common people we don't just
have to survive but live life with dignity and pride.
I had many pics with some of the known celebrities like Shiv Khera but then I thought the pics uploaded
should not be to flaunt like we always do but to let you know where we should focus upon at this well set
stage. Join the people of India and be proud to be Indian not just in sports but in everything we do. I take
the pride to have joined this movement, it could well be a fact that tomorrow there could be another big
news to divert attention of the media and we people from the ongoing protest but still I would not budge
when it comes to my awakening and that is to fight against corruption.
I will be one of the voice of millions joining the protest. “
On Sunday when I got free to watch television to see some news on the happenings I got
surprised again.
To be continued……….
