About Cars4U
● Cars4U it’s a startup and his business score is sell used cars.

● There is a huge demand for used cars in the Indian market today.

● Meanwhile, the sales of new cars decrease, the market of pre-owned cars growing.
● In 2018 - 2019, the bought and sold to used cars reached 4 million units.

● With this precedent it's necessary to know and understand the used cars price to
keep the growth in the Indian market.

● The model linear can help to increase the inventory in the models with more sell
out and have better selection criteria based on the characteristics of the market.

Data Overview
● S.No. : Serial Number
● Name : Name of the car which includes Brand name and Model name
● Location : The location in which the car is being sold or is available for purchase Cities
● Year : Manufacturing year of the car
● Kilometers driven : The total kilometers driven in the car by the previous owner(s) in KM.
● Fuel Type : The type of fuel used by the car. (Petrol, Diesel, Electric, CNG, LPG)
● Transmission : The type of transmission used by the car. (Automatic / Manual)
● Owner : Type of ownership
● Mileage : The standard mileage offered by the car company in kmpl or km/kg
● Engine : The displacement volume of the engine in CC.
● Power : The maximum power of the engine in bhp.
● Seats : The number of seats in the car.
● New Price : The price of a new car of the same model in INR Lakhs.(1 Lakh = 100, 000)
● Price : The price of the used car in INR Lakhs (1 Lakh = 100, 000)

Data Overview
● Original Data have 14 columns and 7,253 rows.

● Serial Number is just a count of each row.

● Name have the manufacture brand, model and other attributes for each sold car. For the model I
extracted only Brand.

● New Price don’t have sufficient data that help us in the model.

● The variables Mileage, Engine, Power and Price it’s neccesary to convert in numerical.

Business Insights and Recommendations
● The year is a good reason for sell to better price each car.

● The mileages is a variable to consider because with more mileages the price trend
to decrease.

● The brands with positive coefficient shows best price.

● The brands with negative coefficient show low price, but in the count by brand have
more cars to difference with the cars with best price that have less units.

● As a recommendation it’s necessary to know the time of sale by brand, and if color
is important for the customers.
