different articles and YouTube videos on how computer parts work. Took point form notes from each site and used it for my script
October 1st 1 hour Core Competency Reflection:
Wrote 2 strengths and 1 weakness for every core competency while providing an example
October 2nd 30 Minutes Core Competency Reflection:
Continued to finish off the last two core competencies. (Communication as well as Personal and Cultural Identity)
October 3rd 1 hour Literature Review: Continued to
research articles and YouTube videos on how computer parts work.
October 4th 1 hour Resume: Listed my volunteer
work, certificates, achievements/awards, and education.
October 5th 1 hour Resume: Format the resume to
make sure everything is aligned and the right font size. Added a snapshot as well October 6th 1 hour Cover Letter: We were given a career to write to and I was given daycare assistant. I wrote a short cover letter to address the head of the daycare.
October 19th 2 hours Draft Capstone Proposal: Wrote
about what my capstone strand is and my project proposal. Started to investigate research for my script.
October 20th 1 hour Tutoring/Volunteer: Helped with
finding adjacent, hypotenuse, and opposite sides of a triangle
October 27th 1 hour Capstone Project: Brainstormed
a few small ideas for my project. Added things like voice over, using background music, and needing to write a script into my list of ideas.
November 1st 1 hour Tutoring/Volunteer: Helped with
finding slope and using the graph to make a y=mx + b formula
November 3rd 1 hour Tutoring/Volunteer: Helped with
finding slope and using the graph to make a y=mx + b formula
November 4th 2 hours Capstone Project: From the
research I completed with the literature review, I used some of the points to start writing the beginning of my script.
November 15th 2 hours Capstone Project: Switched my
idea from video production to hand drawing an animation video. Researched a few apps to create animation
November 16th 2 hours Capstone Project: Tweaked my
script a little bit to fit an animation video rather than a live video. Finished the explanation about what a CPU does for the script.
November 22nd 1 hour Tutoring/Volunteer: How to
make formulas from given statements. Such as money, people, and bonuses.
November 23rd 2 hours Practiced drawing on the
animation app. Drew a few characters and learned how to cause them to move.
November 26th 1 hour Capstone Project: Continued to
practice drawing on the animation app.
November 27th 1 hour Capstone Project: Continued my
script for how certain computer parts work. Finished the part about the motherboard
December 6th 1 hour Capstone Proposal Good Copy:
Applied the feed back that Ms. Lacroix gave me from the Capstone Project Proposal Draft. Also updated the one pager to an animation video instead of a live video.
December 20th 2 hours Finished Script for my animation
video
December 21st 3 hours Finished Audio Recording. Saved
a file of the audio and placed it into my animation app.
December 22nd 5 hours Started drawing the pictures for
the video. Finished the introduction as well as the CPU part of the script. (About 1 minute of the 3-minute video is completed) December 23rd 2 hours Continued to draw images for my video, finished drawing the motherboard part of the script
December 24th 4 hours Continued to draw images for
my video, finished drawing the graphics card part of the script as well as Storage system of the script
December 27th 6 hours Finished the explanation of ram
and power supply in drawing form. Uploaded the animation video on YouTube
