Fajar Kristiono is a professional photographer who is known to often capture

portrait, wedding or prewedding photography works with dramatic and
impressive results.
Fajar Kristiono, who is based in Bogor, West Java, often appears as a speaker
at a number of photography workshops. Most recently, Fajar was a speaker at
the Marathon Workshop at the Doss Vaganza photography exhibition, March
2019 in Jakarta.
And was a speaker at the 2019 SAFA (Acheh photographer grand gathering)
event in lhokseumawe.
Because of his slick works, one of the global camera brands, Sony. Make him
an ambassador.

What do you need when photographing a wedding or a model, apart from

good photography equipment?
What is needed besides gear is the mental first to capture the moment not
only as a job, but also as part of the moment itself. Second, is a solid team and
can share the passion to create, not only a photo but also a photographic work
that has value.

How is it different from other photography

Portrait photography has a prominent difference compared to other types of
photography, especially how the accuracy in capturing the moment is combined
with the composition to get the perfect mood.
Many photographers are struggling in this industry. What are the challenges?
The challenges are quite a lot. Most importantly we must continue to
develop and adapt along with the speed of development of photography itself
and also the rapid development of technology in the world of photography.
What is the definition of a good photo in your opinion
A good photo is a photo that can satisfy not only the client, but also
ourselves. Meeting the needs of clients is the most important thing, but it can
also express ideality in every work that we produce.

When photographing people or models, what are your approaches

For prewedding and wedding shoots where most of the clients are ordinary
people who are not models and even a lot of awkward in front of the camera,
the approach by being their friend becomes very important. Thus, they can feel
more comfortable when dealing with us during the photo shoot. Technical
maturity is also very much needed, because the moment moves very quickly. So.
Continuous learning is very important so that technical matters are no longer an
issue when faced with a photo shoot

What message do you want to convey through your photos

Good work involves not only composition and technical maturity with the right
exposure, but also a strong mood and emotion that we can incorporate into it.
