Course Objectives: -

The course aims at introducing students to the basics of technical installation in


the context of architectural design. Students shall be able to deal with the
parameters of architectural sciences and to incorporate them in to their design
practice and will help them to grasp technical terminology to avoid
misunderstanding with engineers.
Course contents:

The course focuses mainly on water supply systems.

1. Population forecasting

2. Sources of water supply

3. Quantities and Qualities of water

4. Distribution, storage and treatment of water, Installation of sanitary

fixtures, Collection and Disposal of sewage

5. Drainage work above and below ground, and its treatment and storage,

Collection, treatment and disposal of refuses
