Hello, thank you so much for agreeing to do this interview. I hope you had time to read the
informed consent form. We shall begin the interview if you don’t have any clarifications.

1. Can we begin with a small self-introduction of yourself?


2. What academic qualifications do you possess and what was a motivator for you to pursue
a Masters in Industrial and Organisational Psychology?
3. What are the internships you have done and the work experience you have had so far
starting from when you were an undergraduate student?
4. What made you choose this profession? Was there any particular learning experience that
cemented your interest in the field?

Now I'd like to better understand the specificity of the roles that Industrial and Organisational
Psychologists play.

5. What roles and responsibilities are Industrial and Organisational Psychologists expected
to take up in your opinion?
6. What are some challenges that you have faced as an Industrial and Organisational
psychologist in India?
7. Have you undertaken any extra certifications so as to build on your skills and stand out
from others?
8. What are the kind of organisational processes that you have encountered? This could be
in terms of the organisational structure - how different departments/groups function in
tandem, what sort of communication systems are utilised for cohesive functioning and
how leadership roles are defined.
9. What are the kind of organisational cultures that you have been exposed to? This could be
in terms of the kinds of work environment you have been part of, the kind of company
values you have come across and the general organisational culture that influences the
functioning and involvement of the employees.
10. What is your opinion on the field as a whole and how can aspiring Industrial and
Organisational Psychologists become future ready so as to better suit the dynamic nature
of this field?
11. Additionally, what are some skills/competencies that aspiring Industrial and
Organisational Psychologists should work on honing?
