Ceramic tungsten technology

The membranes of the K series are
manufactured in a complex
process. The molecular structure of an
aluminum cone is converted to 20%
into a ceramic structure and refined
with tungsten particles. The result is a
membrane with an optimal stiffness-to-
weight ratio and improved internal
damping.
Connection terminal
The high-quality connection panel
with four gold-plated full metal screw
connections is suitable for cable cross-
sections up to 10 mm2 and special
cable lugs. This enables a secure, long-
term stable connection.

Bass guide Crossover

The floorstanding loudspeakers of the
Reference K family work with the new bass
reflex system Bass-Guide®. Vibrations are
guided out of the housing and flow noise is
reduced. With the same external
dimensions, the usable internal volume of
the loudspeaker increases. The choice of
the site becomes more flexible. The
distance from the wall or the positioning in
a corner have almost no influence.
The crossovers of the Reference 1 K and 3
K are discretely separated from each other
in the low, mid and high frequency
ranges. Only selected components without
any tolerance make it onto the low-
resonance printed circuit boards of the
loudspeakers. This is not just about the
division of a sound signal, it is about
sound-forming measures.
