in Europe for many years. Now we have completely revised the
successful GLE model range - both visually and technically. What
has remained is the strong price-performance ratio and of course
the convincingly good Canton sound. The compact loudspeakers
GLE 20 bring the highest sound performance with very living room-
friendly dimensions. Technically sophisticated loudspeaker chassis
and the skilful sound tuning ensure the best Canton quality and guarantee long-lasting listening
pleasure. New and unique in this price and size class: speaker chassis made of titanium for pure
listening pleasure .
The technology: better than ever
Striving for the best sound means a lot of hard work and the use of the latest techniques. The optically and technically
revised GLE loudspeakers benefit from the progress that we are constantly making in loudspeaker development. First and
foremost, we would like to mention our excellent titanium drivers, which are allowed to move into the current GLE
series. Our aluminum-manganese tweeter system with 25 mm dome, which ensures finely resolved highs and an extremely
detailed sound in the GLE 20, is well-engineered and well-proven. The ideal playing partner is the powerful 154 mm bass-
midrange speaker with a titanium membrane, which can reproduce deep tones with pressure and precision in the optimally
coordinated bass reflex volume. Its light yet extremely stiff membrane guarantees balanced and neutral midrange
reproduction with excellent detail resolution. The woofers are equipped with sturdy polycarbonate baskets, powerful
magnetic drives and the latest generation of triple-folded wave surrounds, which means that the speakers can play very
dynamically with the slightest distortion. The compact loudspeaker GLE 20 plays up to 40,000 Hertz - thanks to its precisely
calculated and optimally shaped waveguide with ideal sound radiation, even on the side of the loudspeaker.
Modern and powerful
The 2-way compact loudspeakers GLE 20 can be used universally: free-standing on the matching LS 660 feet, on a rack or on
a shelf, with harmonious proportions and a neutral and modern design. The baffles are painted black or white, depending
on the design selected. The body of the compact loudspeaker is available in the variants "black decor", "white decor" and
"macassar decor". The black, sound-neutral fabric covers hold magnetically on the baffles. The 29.5 centimeter high, 17
centimeter wide and 26 centimeter deep GLE 20 weigh around 4.5 kilograms .
Team player
The universally applicable 2-way compact loudspeaker GLE 20 can be expanded with other models from the GLE series to
create a powerful, powerful multi-channel home cinema system. For example, you can use our GLE 70 as the main
loudspeaker, combine a GLE 50 center and add a pair of GLE 20 as surround loudspeakers. The subwoofer Power Sub 12,
which perfectly harmonizes with it, takes on the active low-frequency part and provides for powerful bass in the home
