Term paper requirements

1. Deadline for the term paper: 30/4/2021, 23.59 hrs.


2. Students are required to write an individual term paper (within 2500 words)
demonstrating their analytic skills and applying key politico-philosophical concepts to
the understanding of contemporary social issues;
3. Students are expected to choose a subtopic within any of the broad topics covered
during the classes;
4. The paper should include all characteristics of quality academic writing: detailed
account, analysis, critical and independent thinking, documented sources;
5. Each term paper should include a minimum of 7 sources;
6. Sources should be varied, ranging from documents, specialized books, scholarly
articles, respected periodicals and magazines to internet websites (primary and
secondary sources);
7. Layout requirements:
a. Times New Roman 12 font
b. Standard margins
c. Spacing 1,5
d. Pages numbered
e. Text aligned to both sides
f. Bibliography
g. Title page
h. Writing style is to be chosen independently i.e.: MLA, APA, AFT or Chicago
Style as long as it is maintained throughout the whole paper
