Seminar in memory of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Sir Syed Ahmad Khan

A seminar on "In Memory of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Sir Syed Ahmad Khan" was held on Thursday,
December 23, 2021 at University of Jhang under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid
Munir. Among the invited speakers were renowned historians, historians, writers and teachers of
Pakistan. Pakistan Studies, GC University Faisalabad), Dr. Turab Al Hassan (Assistant Professor,
Department of History and Socialization Studies, Bahauddin Zakaria University, Multan). The seminar
was started by playing the national anthem followed by recitation of Holy Quran and Naat. The melody
warmed the audience's blood and the student received a standing ovation. Prof. Shahid Naseem gave a
lively talk on the leaders of the Muslims of the subcontinent after which Dr. Turab Al Hassan highlighted
the War of Independence of 1857 and the struggle of the leader of the Muslims of the subcontinent, Sir
Syed Ahmed Khan and the knowledge of the students. Added He said that the anonymous heroes of
freedom should also be paid tribute in the same way who lit the lamp of freedom with their blood.

Dr. Abdul Qadir Mushtaq, while talking about Muhammad Ali Jinnah, a charismatic leader, further
highlighted the personality of the father of the nation. He laid out various aspects of Jinnah's life in front
of the audience. Dream could not be embarrassingly interpreted. After Dr. Abdul Qadir Mushtaq, Sir
Syed's great grandson (special guest of the ceremony) Syed Mahmood Asadullah was invited who
described the efforts of the Muslim leaders of the subcontinent as a blessing of Allah for the Muslims
and told us to appreciate it. He urged to follow every path. He appreciated the religious struggle of Sir
Syed Ahmad Khan and called him a true lover of the Prophet. At the end of the ceremony, Prof. Dr.
Shahid Munir Muhammad termed the establishment of Pakistan as a gift from Allah. He said that the
yearning for modern education which Sir Syed had aroused in the Muslims had taken the form of Aligarh
University which gave birth to the Muslim League. Iqbal gave a dream to Sir Syed's movement and
Quaid-e-Azam interpreted it. This country was acquired in the name of Islam, so it is necessary to
eliminate the Islamic system of justice and usury. After the speech, the Vice Chancellor thanked all the
distinguished guests and distributed honorary shields among them.
