How to delete duplicate points

Deleting duplicate points in Studio products using SELDEL

1.  In the Command bar run the MGSORT process to sort the points file.  In the Files tab complete the required fields
that are marked in yellow. 

2. In the Field tab, sort on the fields XPT, YPT and ZPT and click OK.

3.  Review the output file from the MGSORT procedure, ensure it is sorted.

Clear the values out of the PID table

4.  In the Command bar run the SELDEL process.   In the Files tab complete the required fields that are marked in
yellow.  The input file will be the sorted file generated in steps 1 and 2. 

5. In the Field tab, select the PID field and click OK.

6.  Review the output file and ensure all duplicate values have been removed.
