DANCE CONTEST

Mechanics:
1. The contestant must be a bonafide member of Sonlon, with 3-10 members per Purok.
2. Participants will provide their own music. Free Style (HipHop, Modern, Contemporary dance,etc..)
3. Video entries must be at least 3 minutes and at most 5 minutes long.
4. Resolution of Video files will be 720p to 1080p and the file format must be in .mp4 and
LANDSCAPE FORMAT.
5. Official entry shall be submitted on or before November 12, 2021.
6. Video entries will be uploaded to our official Facebook page, SK Sonlon.
7. The contest will be divided into two rounds. Preliminaries and the Final round. During
preliminaries all entries will be judge via online through our panel of judges. Top 5 entries/purok will
face each other on November 17, 2021.
8. Video entries will be judged 100% from the performance. Therefore, any reactions and shares
from the social media will not affect to the final ranking of the winners.
9. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.
10. Not abiding with the established mechanics will lead to automatic deduction of their points.

Criteria for Judging:

• 40 points – Choreography (Artistry, style and Originality)
• 30 points – Execution (Timing and Coordination, Projection and Expression)
• 20 points – Costume
• 10 points – Overall Impact
100 points – Total

Champion- 3,000.00
1st Place-2,000.00
2nd place-1,000.00
Consolation prize: 500

OPM VOCAL SOLO

1. The participants must be a bona fide residence of their respective Purok in Barangay Sonlon.
2. There should only ONE participant of each Purok.
3. The contest will be divided into two rounds. Preliminaries and the Final round. During
preliminaries all entries will be judge via online through our panel of judges. Top 5 entries/purok will
face each other on November 17, 2021.
4. The participants must sing an OPM song. Incomplete renditions of the song will result to point
deduction.
5. Resolution of Video files will be 720p to 1080p and the file format must be in .mp4 and
LANDSCAPE FORMAT.
6. Official entry shall be submitted on or before November 12, 2021.
7. There will be 1 point deduction in the overall tabulated result on every violation on the mechanics
given.
8. Entries will be uploaded to our official Facebook Page, SK Sonlon.
9. Video entries will be judged 100% from the performance. Therefore, any reactions and shares
from the social media will not affect to the final ranking of the winners.
10. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

Diction including proper pronunciation/ enunciation- 30%
Stage presence- 20%
Overall impact- 10%

ML Tournament

1. The Brgy. Sonlon ML Tournament is open to all-male, or all-female or mixed teams.

2. Single Round robin format
3. The championship game and the elimination will be Best of 3 games/
4. Registration: 300.00 per team

Prizes:
Champion: 3,000.00
1st place: 2,000.00
2nd place: 1,000.00

Music Video Competition

Mechanics:
1. The contestant must be a bonafide member of Sonlon, with 3-10 members per Group.
2. Participants will provide their own music. Participants are given the freedom whether their entry is
lip sync or sung by their own member.
3. Video entries must be at least 3 minutes and at most 5 minutes long.
4. Resolution of Video files will be 720p to 1080p and the file format must be in .mp4 and
LANDSCAPE FORMAT.
5. Explicit actions are prohibited; deductions are in judge’s decision only.
5. Official entry shall be submitted on or before November 12, 2021.
6. Video entries will be uploaded to our official Facebook page, SK Sonlon.
7. Evaluation of the entries will be on November 17,2021.
8. Video entries will be judged 100% from the performance. Therefore, any reactions and shares
from the social media will not affect to the final ranking of the winners.
9. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

Gulayan sa Pandemya

Mechanics:
-All bonafide youth(15-30 y.o.) of Barangay Sonlon are qualified participants for the contest.
-Contest is STRICTLY BACKYARD GARDENING. Recycled materials and organic methods is
highly encouraged.
-Validators will visit each participants backyard garden to check according to the criteria of judging.
-Every purok shall have 1st to 3rd Winners.
-Culmination program will be on the last week of November,2021.
