Course Details

1. Course Description
The primary objective of this course is to familiarize students with the role of Information Systems (IS) in enhancing
business process and in management decision making process across organizations. The course intends to focus on
topics such as management of digital firms, internet and information technology, e-business, emerging technologies,
enterprise applications, IT infrastructure and IT security.

Class Attendance: Students are expected to attend all the lectures.

Late Submission of Work: Students are requested to submit all assignments/term paper on due date. Late submissions
will not be accepted resulting in a 0 (zero) for that assignment/term paper.

Missed Assessments and Quizzes: Students are requested to appear for assessments/quizzes on due date and time.
Make-ups will be allowed only if there is valid medical emergency or family emergency. However, students should
communicate with the instructor regarding their emergency ASAP.

Unfair Means During Assessments: Any sort of unfair means during assessments will not be tolerated and might result i
in a 0 (zero) in that assessment or even an “F” grade.
