It is always useful to have a Zebra printer in

your pocket, wherever you go!

While testing the printing functionality within Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and
Operations, I was in need of a way to perform printing on a Zebra printer.

Now a days with #COVID19, you prefer to stay at home and then it is difficult to reach that
fancy Zebra printer in the office to test your modifications in the system.

This made me looking after a way to have at least some how a view of what is going on
when I print things.

Once you have this application installed and configured

settings (see bellow), you can go ahead and register this app as a local TCP printer on your
laptop by following some simple steps.

When the printer is locally defined, you may go ahead

running "Document Routing Agent" and afterwards enable it in Microsoft Dynamics 365
for Finance and Operations.

Steps you need to register the Zpl printer App in your local machine are as followed:

First make sure that the Zpl printer App is up and running on the local machine and is
Turned ON

Open Device & Printers on Control Panel, or Press Window Button, then type “Printer”
then Enter.

Click “Add a printer”. Then it will automatically search for devices. Instead, click “The
Printer that I want isn’t listed”.

Then it will show Add Printer page. Select “Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or
hostname”. Then next.

Form here follow the steps as illustrated here bellow and it will work!
