Senator etc. Many candidates have a chance to prove themselves that they are worthy to become one
of Leader in our country. In this times of Pandemic are you ready to vote? Severe of people are ready to
vote their preferred candidates and support them. But in this times of pandemic are you willing to put
your health at risk. In order to vote there are many ways to vote such as online voting and Physical
Voting but observe Health Protocols. We know that every 6 years Voting Election occur. In 2016 the
winner of the election is our President Rodrigo Roa Duterte while in this coming elections a lot of
candidates are competing for the position of being Presidency. In our Country many are running to
become a president such as Bongbong Marcos, Isko Moreno, Senator Manny Paquiao and Vice President
Leni Robredo. The election began on May 9,2021 when it was announced severe people rallied and lost
Social Distancing people also flocked to the voting areas and the Health Protocols was no longer
followed.

In many cases people began to fight over which of candidates will win. Our government had no
choice but to back our Quarantine Level in ECQ (Enhance Community Quarantine) as Health Protocols in
many areas are not followed. Therefore, there are still a lot people who determined to vote. There are
also times that a lot of people they endure in the sun just to vote. According to Philippines Election
Comelec, Registered voters for 2022 Philippine elections surpass 61 Million. Groups also noted that
millions of people could be disenfranchised from voting, citing the Philippines Statistics Authority’s
projected voting population for 2022 which is over 73 million. Many people want that duterte is eligible
for 2nd term but since Incumbent president Rodrigo Duterte is ineligible for re-election as he is limited
to a single term. But President Roa Duterte says he will run being senator in coming election. Therefore
the budget for Commission on Elections is 26.5 billion.

Moreover, if our government permitted more voters to vote in voting areas many peoples will
become more and more exited who will win in the candidates thus, our government will be problematic
because it can getting more risk of the virus and resulting to rising up of cases of the virus since the
pandemic haven’t stop yet. We know that we are exited about the election of 2022 but we should not
let our health getting infected by the virus and follow the minimum health protocols and keeping us
safe. Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday filled his candidancy for a senate seat in next
year’s elections, walking back on his vow that he would retire from politics when his term ends and
prompting rights groups to say the leader is working to evade accountability for his deadly anti-drug
campaign while in office.

However, Duterte announced early last month that he was retiring from politics after dropping
plans to run for Vice President due to what he said was widespread public sentiment against the move.
His initial plan to seek the vice presidency outraged activists, who have been described his as a human
rights calamity in an Asian bastion of democracy. Duterte’s run for senate is yet another attempt of the
tyrant to evade accountability from the International Criminal Court and other accountability
mechanisms,” said Christina Palabay of Karapatan, a left-wing alliance of human rights groups. It is a
sinister opportunist, and underhanded as the attempts of his daughter and allies to run in the 2022
elections” with the government help voting occurs result to be succeed

Recovery from a COVID-19 Pandemic would take a center stage in the campaign for the 2022
elections, according to political analysts. The government’s pandemic response and economic
downturns as a result of a crisis are two issues that would take center stage in the campaign season.
Poverty, Hunger and joblessness as well as rising commodity prices are key issues that will be in the
minds of voters next year. Victor Andres Manhit, president of think tank Albert del Rosario Institute for
Strategic and International Studies said in a Facebook Messenger chat. Nine of 10 Filipinos thought
government response to the pandemic has been inadequate, According to, a poll by Pulse Asia Research
in June Filipinos cited the lack of Financial aid, slow and inefficient vaccine rollout and failure to enforce
Health Protocols. Jobless Filipinos rose to 3.76 Million in June from 3.73 million a month earlier,
According to, the local Statistics agency. About 6.409 million Filipinos were unemployed.

Finally, Voting is very important as it gives people freedom to vote and choice they’re preffered
candidates. In this times we still need to choose very well for the next successor of President Rodrigo
Roa Duterte and make our country to be very well place
