Essay An Unforgettable Holiday Treat

On previous occasions, my family and I have been travelling to the Cameron

Highland. We were there for 2 days and 1 night. We went there by car and it was
a 5 hours journey. We arrived there in the evening. We checked into the hotel
first, to keep our bags and unpacked our things. Since it was a 5 hours journey,
we were fatigued and we took a rest at the hotel. After we took a rest at the hotel,
we went to the bee farm which was nearby the hotel only. It took only 10 minutes
to reach the bee farm. The bee farm was situated on the 3th floor. We saw the
bees were kept inside the boxes. The place looked fabulous and there were lots
of blooming flowers which looked gorgeous. My sister and I took many pictures
from there. My father went to the 2nd floor and bought a jar of pure honey. The
taste of the honey was earthy and saccharine.

After we went to the bee farm, we rested ourselves at the hotel. At night, we
had dinner together at a chinese restaurant. This restaurant provides only
chinese food. We ate a lot of food that my parents ordered for us. The food was
incredibly delicious and mouth watering. After we finished our dinner, we went to
the hotel since it had been late. The next day, we woke up early in the morning at
about 7:00 am and got ready. We packed our things and left the hotel. My sister
planned to go to the Raju’s Hill Strawberry Farm first to have scrumptious
breakfast but unfortunately the plan has been cancelled since the food at the
Raju’s Hill Strawberry Farm was quite pricey. Then, we planned to go to the Old
Town White Coffee restaurant to have our breakfast. After we finished our
breakfast, we started our journey to the Boh Tea Estate. The place was
picturesque and looked wonderful. The clean and fresh air made me feel good
and gave me a positive vibe.

Later we went to the floral garden. There were many types of flowers which
looked flourishing. The colour of the flower looks attractive and the flowers are
blooming. My sister and I took many pictures from the flower garden. There was
also a peacock in the garden. Besides, my sister bought some plants at the
nearby floral garden market while my mom bought some fresh vegetables such
as enoki mushroom, sweet potatoes, corn, capsicum and many more. Lastly, we
went to the lavender farm. In the lavender farm there was also a strawberry farm.
We also bought lavender ice cream from the farm. The ice cream was purple in
colour and it tasted delectable. The lavender farm looked beautiful. We also
wanted to go to the strawberry farm but unfortunately it didn’t happen because
the farm was closed. Then we wanted to go back home so we moved from the
lavender farm. This is the best ever family trip in my life and the most important
thing is when my family can give some space and spend their time to make this
family trip successful. This is the happiest moment in my life. I hope there will be
another family trip for the next holiday.
