AN UNFORGETTABLE TRIP

Last year, my aunt took us to Terengganu for a short trip during the school holidays. I
t was the most memorable trip I have ever been on.

I was over the moon for this trip and I couldn't sleep that night. I packed for the trip
and got ready at 1am. We went to our uncle's house first before we started our journey at 2
am. After a few hours, we arrived in Terengganu. I was so excited. We rested at the hotel be
fore we went to my uncle's house to celebrate my nephew's birthday.

When we reached there, my uncle welcomed us with a lot of delicious food. To my s

urprise, there were many people at my uncle’s house. I was very nervous for the first time.
My palm broke out in a cold sweat. Suddenly, a girl with a broad smile came to me with a cu
p of sirap bandung. She said, “Hi, I’m Izzati! What’s your name?” “Hi… hi…I’m… I’m Aleesya.”
I stuttered. She was very friendly and soon we became friends! Even though she was two ye
ars older than me, I felt very comfortable when talking with her. We had delicious food toge
ther while getting to know each other. After that, we went back to the hotel to rest again.

The next day, we went to the houseboat. It was very interesting! The sea view is very
beautiful and so is the room, it is very comfortable. We really enjoyed it because that was th
e first time we were able to bathe in the sea together. We also had a barbecue for dinner. It
was so fun! Besides, I also bought some keychains for my best friends at the souvenir store.

After staying a few days in Terengganu, we returned to Kedah. It was a vacation that
I will never forget because I was able to spend time with my family, meet new people and m
ake new friends!
