90.Visited my grandma’s home
The last holiday i went to my grandma’s home.Her home was so far away from the
city and close to the vegetables farm area. My grandma and grandpa were farmers.I spent two
days there and I did so many interesting things in the farm, helping my grandpa planted
vegetables.
At the first day, I learned to plant spinach. What I did was moving out the young
spinach from the seeding area to the plantation area.I thought it was easy, but in fact, it was
tiring. I had to move those one by one under the sun. I did that for several hours before
launch and continued until afternoon.
In the night, i didn’t want anything except sleeping. I was really tired but it was fun.I
couldn’t wake up in the morning until my grandma knocked at my door. He laughed at me
because what I did was not hard actually if compared with the real farmer.
The second day, before we went to the farm again, my grandma had prepared for
breakfast. After eating I follow my grandpa going to the next field.We would did daily
treatment for the 1 month age spinach. We had to give them enough water and checked if
there were any caterpillars and grasshoppers.
At the third day, I had to back home. I was sad to leave my grandma and grandpa.
But, that’s fine because the next holiday I would went there and see them again.

90.My First Time In Medan
My family and I went to my aunt’s house in Medan last years. It was my first trip to
this city. We arrived in Medan at night. We spent a week staying in my aunt’s house.
On the first day, we went to Gedung London Sumatera to see some historical building
in Medan. We took a lot of picture there. We also took some picture of the building so we can
check it again at home. Then, we felt hungry so we went to some place providing Medan
traditional food around the building.
On the second day, all of us went to Pasar Belawan. We saw a variety of unique items
sold at attractive prices. I bougth some wooden figurine and T-shirt, while my sister bought
some leather handbag. My mom and dad were busy choosing some merchandise to be
brought home when we went back.
We spent the rest of our week in Medan by visiting some Shopping Malls. We
realized that Medan turned out to be very warm during the day, but we really enjoyed it, and
I hope I could visited Medan again.

89.Went to Pariaman Beach with My Family
My last holiday was amazing. My family and i went to Kata beach that is located in
Pariaman.
First, we arrived at the beach in the morning, it was around 09.30 am. I was amazed
by the breathtaking scenery of the beach. My parents begin to arrange to have a picnic time.
They set the rug and umbrella on the sand beach. My mother prepared all the food that we
had brought; there were sandwiches, chicken nuggets, and also my favorite drink, orange
juice. The juice was so refreshing and these meals were a great companion to start our
adventure at this beach.
After the picnic time, my brother and I walked around the beach looking for some
small creatures that lived there. We found some beautiful hermit crabs and starfishes there.
We didn’t keep any of them and let them free. There were also some beautiful fish that lived
near the coral, but they were too fast to catch.
When it almost 04.00 pm, we went back to the home. Even though it was tiring but I
felt so happy having a great time Kata beach. I wished I could visited this beach again
someday.

88. Vocation to Tirta Alami
Last week, I and my family went vacation to Tirta Alami waterpark because my little
brother and I were having school holiday.
We went to Tirta Alami at 08.30 AM because the distance from our house to Tirta
Alami waterpark about 30 minutes.We went there by car. After a while, we finally arrived at
Tirta Alami waterpark. This waterpark was located in Kayu Tanam, Sumbar. While enjoying
fresh air, we ate together first. We can not stop being amazed at the beauty of the scenery
around the waterpark.
After having meal together we directly ran toward the bathing pool. We ignored
mom’s words telling us to change our clothes first. It felt fresh when the water reached our
feet. We had been swimming for about 15 minutes, before our Mother called us for took
picture on us with his camera.
Suddenly, it was already at 15 o’clock, we had to back home on the way home, I and
my little brother fell asleep. When we woke up, we were already at home. This holiday was
really fun.

87. My first time in Marapi mountain
Last year, my uncle and I went camping on the mountain. We went to Marapi, Tanah
Datar. The spot is near from our town. I is about 2 hours to get there. We choose Merapi
because it is not too far from ou home. It was my first trip on the mountain
We prepare everything before went to Marapi. We brought cooking utensils and the
food from home, clothes, camera, guitar, etc. We went there by motorcycles.
On the first day, we sat up the tent on the camping area. The air was so fresh there.
We take a bath on the river. After played at river, we felt hungry. Then, we cooked the food
for the lunch and had lunch together. The first night of our camping, the air so cold, we made
a campfire, sang songs together and after that we slept.
On the second day, we had some activities. We, tried to go fishing in the river near the
camping area. We went on hiking up the mountain, and took some pictures. After that, we
packed everything we brought. we cleaned the camping area and prepared to go home
We made a memory by taking photos together in front of camping area and then went
home happily.

87. My Holiday in Pariaman
Last holiday, my sister and I went to Pariaman. We went there to visit our uncle. We
were there for two days. I had many impresive experiences there.
First day, we visited Kata Beach in the morning. Kata beach was very beautiful.We saw
the beautiful sunrise together. It was a great scenery. I played the white sands and i saw some
people practiced swam there. I played for some hours until i felt tired and decided to go
back to my uncle house.
Second day, we went to Gondoriah beach. We play so many water sports such as
banana boat, speedboat etc. We also went to Angso duo island to see many unique animals.
They were snakes, and sea birds. We were very happy. In the afternoon, we back to
Gondoriah Beach to saw the amazing sunset and enjoyed the beautiful wave.
In the evening, we had to back to our uncle house. And finnaly we went back home
bringing so many amazing memories of Pariaman.

86.Carocok Beach
Last week, my friend and i went to Carocok Beach to spend our weekend. It is located
about five hours from my house.
When we arrived there, we were amazed with the great view of Carocok Beach. We
just played with the water for few moments because it was freezing and windy. We walked
around the beach and noticed that there just few people that spent their holiday here. I just
realized that the weather was not good, so most people was spending their weekend at home.
After spending few hours in the beach, we thought that we need to get something to
ate. We went to a store nearby and order some hot chips. It was tasty and great. Then, we
rented bikes from nearby rental because we would like to ride bike down the beach. We rode
the bike slowly on the hart and damp part of the sand to enjoy the panorama around.
Finally, we went home in the evening. We were happy for having weekend
experience there. The trip back home was quite tiring. We were so exhausted but happy to
spend our weekend in wonderful beach.

87. My Holiday in Yogjakarta
Last holiday, my familIy and i went to Yogyakarta. We visited many beautiful places
there.
First day, we visited Prambanan Temple. Prambanan temple was a beautiful temple.
We toured around the temple and took some photos there. After that, we went to Gembira
Loka zoo. We saw many kinds of animals there such as elephant, snakes,monkey, bird
collections, etc. We fed some animals, and also took pictures of those animals. After from
gembira loka zoo we went to hotel to take a rest. This hotel very famous in Yogjakarta, the
facilities made me comfortabel during i stayed there.
In the next day, we went to malioboro to buy some souvenirs. Malioboro was about
30 minutes from our hotel. Malioboro was a busy street, there were many sellers who sold
many kinds of souvenirs. We were shopping for some hours until we felt tired and decided to
go back to our car. Then, we felt hungry, so we went to a restaurant. After we finished our
dinner, we decided to go hotel.
For me, that was a good moment because I could spent my time with my family. We

s85. My School Holiday at Gondoriah Beach
Last school holiday, my family and went to Gondoriah beach in Pariaman. I was so
excited to spend my holiday there. The trip was not too long for about 12 kilometers from my
house and it took about 30 minutes of driving.
After about 30 minutes of driving, finally we arrived at Gondoriah beach. Since it was
holiday season, there were lot of people who spent their holiday there. The air was refreshing
and I took a walk to enjoy the scene around. After that I played with my sister on the white
sand and water. I also didn’t forgot to take some pictures here with my family.
After that, we decided to have a lunch at the nearby restaurant. The food was
delicious and we ready again to bought some souvenir near the beach. There are a lot of
unique souvenirs like necklace, traditional bag, ring, and so on. We spent our time for picking
the best souvenir until the sunset. I was so excited to see the beautiful sunset there.
We felt so fresh and Happy when went back to home. We enjoyed our holiday at
Gondoriah beach so much.

85.My first time climbed the mountain.
Last years, I went to the Marapi Mountain. It was the first time I climbed the
mountain. I did it with my brother and some of my friends.
We start climbing at 8 p.m. It so dark and we only used flashlight to get the way.I felt
no worry because my brother was professional climber. I just followed his instruction.We
climbed slowly and enjoy the night there.
After 7 hours walking in the dark, we could reach the top of the mountain. It was at 3
a.m. early in the morning.We were not alone. There were a lot of people who reached that top
before us.We waited the sun rises by cooking some food and making some hot drink to get
back our energy. After seeing the sun raised, we have to go back home. Getting down the
mountain not hard as the climbing process because we only spent a few energy and time
even we had to be more careful to do this process.
However, it was great experience i had ever done so far. After all, that was my great
experience I had ever have.

85.Stomachache
One week ago, I almost hospitalized for putting too much chili in my meatballs.I
loved spicy foods so much. I ate them for my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When I didn’t
taste a hint of chili in my food, I wouldn’t even bother finishing it.
I was eating a bowl of my favorite meatball and put way too many spoons of sambal
into it. My stomach felt like it was on fire on the next day and I got diarrhea. My dad asked
me to check my condition in the hospital but my mom tell me to let my food out one more
time. I chose to did what my mom suggested, hoping it would work because if it wouldn’t, I
would have to follow my dad’s suggestion. It took time, but my stomchache felt more
bearable than before. Finally, after almost an hour, I completely stomachache-free.
My parents went strict on what I am eating after that day. They made me promise
myself not to eat spicy food anymore. Not that I completely quit on eating them, but I have
been recuding my consumption of them. It’s hard, but for the sake of my health, I was doing
it anyway.

85.Visiting Cermin Beach
A two months ago, my class mate and i went to Cermin beach in Pariaman. We went
there by motorcycle. We left home at the early morning, it was around 08.30 a.m.
It was a not too long journey. It took about 30 minutes to reach Cermin beach. after a
few minute later we arrived at the beach. The air so refreshing and the blue sunny sky so
beautiful. It felt like our spirit had been recharged just for seeing it.
After we reached the beach, we decided to have a lunch first for filling up our energy.
we went to restaurant near by tha beach. Our meals were tasted so delicious because we were
starving along the way. While we enjoyed the tasty meal, we also could enjoy the view of the
beach. We got back our energy full, ready to explore the beach. Luckily, we visited the beach
right when the sea water level was low, so we could walk a bit further on the beach. It was
wonderful to be here with those all view.
We took a lot of pictures of our beautiful moments there. Although it was tiring day, I
was so happy to spend all day long with my beloved friends.

85.Went to Maninjau Lake
Last holiday, my friends and I went to the Maninjau Lake. The trip not too long for
about 78 kilometers from my house and it took about two hours of driving.
We went early in the morning and arrived there at 8 a.m. luckily, that day was sunny.
The lake seemed so beautiful under the blue sunny sky. It was so happy to saw many bird the
fly at sky and the breeze blowing our hair gently.We took great photos as a keepsake of our
beautiful moments here.
At noon, we started to feel hungry, so we decided to went to the nearest food stall.
The fish looked fresh and there were a lot of seefood menu listed here. We ordered grilled
fishes. The dishes were delicious since it made from fresh ingredients. We filled our bellies to
our heart’s content.
We went home happily and fully recharged, ready for our daily routine, going to
school the next day.

84. Came late
Last wednesdey, I came late to my school because I played playstation untill 2.00 am
in the night. Because of that I woke up late.
First, I woke up about 6.40 am and the class would be began at 7.00 am. I ran to
bathroom to take a bath. Then I got dressed so quickly that I forgot to wear socks.I usually
had a breakfast after got dressed, but in that day I did not do that.
Second, I always went to school by my moyorcycle. But in that day, I forget where I
put the key. So, I went to the school by public transportion. It make me took a longer time. I
arrived at school at 7.15 am, I ran to my class but I see my teacher has stood in front of the
class to teach. I enter to my class and of course my teacher was angry to me because I came
late.
It was my bad experience and I hoped I would not do that again.

84. Went to Bukittingi
Last month, my friends and I went to Bukittinggi. We visited many places.
First, we visit Ngarai sianok. The sun shone brightly and the scenery very beautiful
there. We feel the wind blew across to us. We could enjoyed the green and shady forest.
There were so many monkeys. They are so tame but sometimes they could be naughty. We
could make a close interaction with them.
Second, we visited zoo. We saw many kinds of animals there such as monkeys, tigers,
crocodiles, snakes, etc. We looked around in that Zoo, and also took pictures of those
animals. Then, we felt hungry, so we went to a restaurant. As soon as we finished our lunc,
we decided to go home.
For me, that was a beautiful day though I could not visit Lobang Jepang. we really
enjoyed it, and I hope I could visited Bukittinggi again.

84.Holiday
The last semester holiday was a moment that I'd been waiting for. I was spending
more time to learn than doing some activities associated with my hobby.
My last holiday was classified as a very simple holiday. I only at home for doing my
hobbies such as wacthing, cooking, and visiting my friends’ house. On the first day until the
fifth day I spent time with wacthing, chatting with family, and painting some objects at home.
Then in the following days, I visited my friends’ home to do fun things together. We
cycled around the area to see new things together. After being tired of cycling, we took visit
at other friends’ house while fulfilling the thirst. Every time the day got dark, we went back
to our homes to spend time with family.
Those days very enjoyable for me. Although I only spent holiday at home with doing
funny things, spending time with family, and visiting my friends’ home while studying, I
really enjoyed that short holiday.

82.My Horrible Experience

Let me remind you my experience during an earthquake last week. When the
earthquake happened, I was on my car. I was driving home from my vocation in Padang.
Suddenly my car lunched to one side, to the left. I thought I got flat tire. I did not
know that it was an earthquake. I knew it an earthquake when I see some three and electricity
poles falling down to the ground. I saw a lot of rocks tumbling across the road. I was trapped
by the rock. Even I could not move my car at all. There are rocks everywhere. There was
nothing I could do but i left the car and walk along way to my house, in the village.

82. Visiting Grandparents
Last year holiday, I went to Padang visiting my grandmother and grandfather.I have
to go there because the previous holiday I wasn’t there.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have any ticket of either train and plane so that I went to
Padang by bus. It so tiring because the traffic was too crowded and stagnant.Normally, the
trip needs around 40 minutes but my trip at that time take two hours from Pariaman to
padang. That made me mad.
The madness and tiredness during the trip have gone after I met my grandma and
grandpa. They were looked old. I was so happy knowing them in healthy condition.

82.New Year Holiday
The last school holiday, I spent the time with my family on vacation to a relative's
house in Pekanbaru, approximately ten hour trip by bus from our home in Sungai Sarik.
On the way there, we see many beautiful views such as rice fields, mountains, etc.
Having arrived at the uncle's house, we were greeted by our relatives who had not meet us for
a long time. On the next day, I forgot that it was the New Year. Sudenly, one of my cousins
came and ask me to celebrate the New Year's Eve together. At night, I went together with
him to the center of the city of Pekanbaru. We prayed together and wathed the fireworks
lightening the sky that night.
Suddenly, the holiday passed quickly. The last New Year's holiday experience in the
city of Pekanbaru was so impressive for me.

Holiday was coming, but I didn’t have any plan for it. So, I just stayed at home to
spent my two days of school break. I didn’t feel excited at all because it was so boring.
I started the day by waking up at about 8 o’clock. It later than my usual habit. Then I
took a bath to freshen my body. After that, I played my favorite games on my handpone until
midday. Then I have lunch to recover my energy for helping my parents to clean the house. I
also didn’t forget the homework that my teacher gave me. I did it at 06.30 pm. After I finish

YouTube all night long. I kept awake till late night during my holiday and went to bed at 12
pm.
That was all about my boring holiday. Although it was just an ordinary holiday, at
least I could refresh my mind from the daily school activities.

80.Holiday in Nyarai Waterfall
Last holiday, my friend and i, visited Nyarai Waterfall in Lubuk Alung, Sumbar
Province, Indonesia. It was the first time for me to visit such a wonderful waterfall. To reach
the waterfall location, we should went on foot after having 40 minutes trip riding a
motorcycle from our house. When we arrived there, I amazed by the beautiful scenery of the
waterfall. The air was so fresh at that time and I could not bear to jump into the water
immediately. Hearing the sound of falling water while we were swimming made me feel
peaceful and relaxing.
Finally, the day was getting dark and it was time for us to go home. It was such an
unforgettable experience for me. I really enjoyed it.

I went to the market yesterday with my sister, my mom wasn’t at home yesterday so
she told my sister and me to bought vegetable in the market.
I was playing my phone all the time in that market. Then, my sister I buy a bottle of of
water in the nearest shop because we felt thirsty. I forgot to take my phone with me when I
bought water. Then I saw my sister out of the shop. I ran to him and we are about to go. That
time I thought I lost my phone. My Sister told me to check it in the place before. I came back

80. Embarrassing Experience
First time I did my speech was two years ago. It short but strong speech for me.
I was choosen for the students to speak in front of everyone in the podium when the
independence day. I was very happy to do something like that. Prepared everything contained
what would I going to say. When the independence day was coming, I was told to stand on
the podium. I did my speech with full of worry, and in the middle of my speech, I feeling
strange, like there was no power. A few minutes later, I fainted. My speech was terribly
ruined by myself because of my worry. I was very disappointed to myself.

80.My Awful Holiday at Home
The last holiday a quite bad for me. I couldn’t go anywhere because I sick and needed
to take a rest for a few days.
Those days were awful. I just spent the days by just laying on my bed because it was
so dizzy when I tried to walk. I had a fever and also lost my appetite so I didn’t eat much. It
made me so weak. My mom told me that I must eat and took the pills to get my health
recovered.I didn’t enjoy my holiday at all because I couldn’t go for a vacation with my
friends to the beach nearby. But I felt better when my friends came to see my condition. They
also hoped me to get well soon.

Last month i was going to the river. It was the nice time for fishing because I had no
work to do. I went there with my friends
At that river, I look for the best point to fish. After searching for about ten minutes,
finally I found the spot. It was under the big tree at the river bank.I threw my hook as far as I
can then I wait for the fish eating my bait. 30 minutes left and finally there was a fish ate my
bait. . I try to pull it up and i succeeded. I got a three kilogram fish. I was so excited. I threw
the hook again and again. I get more than ten fish that day. I enjoyed the moment so much
that i didn’t realized that the sun had already set. I called my friends and we went home.

Last week i and My friend went to the theatre. We have two free ticket to watch a
movie.I have no idea about the movi. I would like to watch and I did not know the schedule
of that theatre. So that, I just wanted to come and saw if there any good movie.
After arrived at the theater, we parked my motorcycle at the parking area and we
walked slowly at the hall of the theatre.I took my ticket on my wallet and went to the
information section to ask about how to used the ticket that day.Unfortunately, I missed it.
The ticket was already expired 2 days before.I went home and I was very disappointed about
that.

Yesterday I and my family went to wildlife park and kinantan cultureto to see various
animal such as the elephants, tiger, zebra, deer, and atc. wildlife park and kinantan culture
was one of the oldest zoos in Indonesia located in Bukittinggi, Sumatera Barat. When we get
to there,the zoo filled with visitors, because it was a weekend. Then we looking around the
zoo to saw some animal.
We saw some elephant performances such as playing football, sitting, greeting the
visitors, and other entertaining performances. We also feed some animals and take some
picture with the animal.When we returned home we were tired but we were happy because
we have so much fun in wildlife park and kinantan culture.

77.My short Holiday In Bukittinggi
Last holiday, I went to Bukittinggi with my friend, astuti. we spend our holiday there.
we went to Bukittinggi by bus. The bus schedule from Brebes at 07.00 AM and arrived in
Bandung at 09.00 AM
First, we went to Bukittinggi zoo. The ticket price was only Rp 10.000. The animals
collection there were very complete. After that, we went to zoologi museum and talked with
the guide about zoologi. It make us understood about zoologi. we saw domestic and foreign
ornamental fish collections there. After that, I went to Bukittinggi bus station because we
have to go home to Brebes. My holiday in Bukittinggi was only short but It made me happy.

Last weekend, i and my friends went camping. We reached the camping ground after
we walked for about one and a half hour from the parking lot. We built the camp next to a
small river.It getting darker and colder, so we immediately set up a tent together. The next
day, we spend our time observing plantation and insects while the girls preparing meals.
In the afternoon we went to the river and caught some fish for supper.At night, we
held a fire camp night. We sing, danced, read poetry, played magic tricks, and even same of
us performed a standing comedy.On Monday, we packed our bags, clean the camp area and

78.A Trip To Jam Gadang
Last week, I spent my holiday in Bukittinggi. I went to Jam Gadang. My family and I
went there early morning.
We went to Jam Gadang by private car. I have prepared everything before we went to
Bukittinggi. While we were driving, we could saw some beautiful views of mountains,
forests, and waterfalls.My family and I arrived at Jam Gadang at 10:30 in the afternoon.
There, I saw many tourists. Jam Gadang crowded in that holiday vacation. I could learn and
practice speaking English with one of foreign tourists. His name was Jack. He was very
friendly. It was my first time to speak English with foreign tourist. I alto took a lot of picture
there.We go back at 04:30 in the evening. It was a very interesting vacation.
