1.2 Core Values and Expectations

To realise our vision of dynamic collaboration, positive attitudes and innovative students, we
strive to create a learning community where students are the centre of attention.

Respecting differences Understanding different cultures, beliefs and ideologies and

appreciating the strength that comes from our diversity.
Empathy for others Comprehending different views, perspectives and situations
on a personal and interpersonal level
Safe environment for all Contribute your part to ensure that we have a pleasant and
clean restaurant, classrooms, corridors and schoolyard.
Acting true to principle Demonstrate integrity in everything you do. Always do the
right things, even when no one is watching.
Outstanding attitude Be honest, responsible and motivated in your learning and
school life.
Thoughtful and considerate Participate and contribute effectively, positively, calmly and
communication constructively to the school community.
Teach and learn in a positive The right to learn in school without interference.
environment

We are a caring school community. This means that we work together in all aspects of
school life, caring for students and staff to make our days and lessons harmonious.

1.3 Caring School

ESRM is a “Caring School”. What does this mean for our school community?
• Bullying is not accepted.
• Everyone can feel safe at school.
• We respect each other.
• We communicate and cooperate in a positive way.
• We learn to solve problems and manage conflicts constructively.

1.4 Environmental School

The ESRM is a "Hessian Environmental School". Teachers are role models for all students
in their own behaviour and encourage them to adopt sustainable behaviour in everyday
school life, for example by:

• Waste separation in classrooms and in the teachers' room,

• Careful handling of the paper provided (e.g. copying on both sides, using unused
copies as notepads, weighing up between board and paper, etc.),
• Participation in school collection campaigns, (e.g. empty printer and toner
cartridges),
• Actively involving students and communicating scientific facts and connections,
3

School Year 2021/22

• Switching off the Smartboard and PCs when leaving the room for a longer period of
time,
• Disconnecting chargers as well as power supply units (laptop, keyboard, tablet, etc.)
from the mains when they are no longer needed,
• Responsible handling of school property and exhaustive use of workbooks and
textbooks,
• Energy-saving regulation of the indoor climate (seasonally appropriate ventilation,
keep outside doors closed, etc.),
• Waste reduction (reusable bread boxes and refillable drinking bottles).

2 How to Contact the School

You can reach the school during school hours as follows:

Phone: 06101 - 50566 - 0

Fax: 06101 50566 - 90
e-mail: info@es-rm.eu

Appointments with the Head of Secondary, Dr. Daniella Schmitt, can be made via the
secondary office by Ms. Heuer (i.heuer@es-rm.eu, extension -35).

3 General Information

• Make sure that you are familiar with this manual. All guidelines and school processes
must be followed.
• Sequence of contact: In most cases, parental enquiries can be dealt with by the class
teacher, subject teacher or pedagogical advisors.
1. class teacher - for all class-related topics, such as general questions about a student's
performance/behaviour, well-being, interaction with others and daily school life.
2. subject teacher - for all subject related topics, including homework, learning, tests,
grades and general behaviour. A list of teachers' office hours and e-mail addresses of
all teachers is available from the beginning of the school year in the login area of our
website.
3. pedagogical advisors: at pa@es-rm.net - for all school and administrative issues, such
as absences, supervision, replacement lessons, general enquiries, etc.
The Directors or Head of Secondary will only be involved in enquiries if the above
contact sequence has been followed and no solution has been found.
• Valuables: The school accepts no responsibility or liability for valuables or other
items brought into the school by students. Valuables should be left either at home or
in the locker and not in the backpack in the common areas or classrooms. This
includes mobile phones, bags, laptops, wallets, etc.
• Current book lists are published on our website www.es-rm.eu under "Information".

4
Student Handbook Secondary School
School Year 2021/22

• Materials for the Secondary School:

Students in grades S1-S5 must have exercise books for each subject. For Maths and
Physics squared paper is required and lined paper for all the other subjects. For each
subject a folder is needed for handouts and photocopies. In addition, students will
need pens, pencils, coloured felt-tip pens, erasers, sharpeners, ruler and geo-triangle.
In S1-S3 a simple pocket calculator is sufficient.
S4-S6: The Physics and Mathematics curriculum of the European Schools stipulates
that digital media will have to be used instead of the calculator in S4 onwards. The
software "GeoGebra Suite or GeoGebra 6" will therefore now be used until the BAC.
The download of this software is free of charge and can be done under the following
link: https://www.geogebra.org/download
In order to use the software, the following minimum hardware requirements have to be
taken into consideration: Screen diagonal: 7", CPU: 1.5 GHz dual-core, GPU: Quad-
core, RAM: 2 GB, Capacity: 16 GB, Battery: min. 4 hours when using GeoGebra.
Please note that students of S4, S5 and S6 no longer need to buy a calculator, as the
new hardware described above will replace the calculator from this school year on.
Secondary school students must use the school's original test paper for their exams.
The test paper is available for 2,00 EUR at the front office.
Further information will be announced by the subject teachers at the beginning of
the school year.
• Absences of teachers will be announced on the screen in the fish tank. Students must
inform themselves daily about the absence of teachers and their replacements. In case
a teacher is absent, a substitute teacher will take over the lesson. This is considered
an official lesson. In the event that a teacher cannot be substituted, students will have
a study hour.
• Cover in the Secondary School:
All absences will be on the screen from 8:30am at the fish tank.
The subject teachers send assignments by e-mail to their S6 and S7 students.
Students must check absences at the fish tank even if they have not received an e-
mail. It is the student's responsibility to make sure that they do the work sent by the
teacher.
S5-S7 students can check their e-mail in the designated areas.
There is no cover for S6 and S7.
Religion/Ethics are not covered (students go to the study area or foyer during these
lessons).
After period 9 (15:15) there is no cover. Students who are still in school at that time
spend the time in the study area or foyer.
The first lesson will only be covered if it is a longer absence and is known in advance.
Students who are at school and leave because of a missed class do so at their own
risk.

4 School Rules

The internal rules of the ESRM do not replace the General Rules of the European Schools
2014-03-D-14-en-10, which are complementary to them at local level.
Each member of the school community is expected to abide by the duties and rules.
Everyone has the right to express an opinion, but should respect the religious, political,
ethnic and philosophical beliefs of other members of the school community. The propagation
of a particular ideology is not compatible with the school's educational program.

Below is a list of some of our school rules. In case of non-compliance and violation, students
must expect consequences.

• Within the school building, food can only be consumed in the school restaurant and
in the school yard. Failure to comply with this rule will result in detention.
• Headphones are not allowed on the school premises (exception during lessons with
the teacher's permission). Disregarding this rule will result in detention.
• Chewing gum is not allowed on the school premises. Disregarding this rule will
result in detention.
• The use of rude, inappropriate language and the performance of indecent acts, even
among friends, is not allowed and will result in detention and further disciplinary
action.
• Zero tolerance for discrimination and exclusion of other classmates. Disregarding
this rule can lead to suspension.
• Zero tolerance for verbal, physical or sexually motivated abuse of any kind. Failure
to follow this rule may result in suspension.
• There is no school uniform. However, all members of the school community are
expected to come to school in appropriate clothing. Clothing should not be too
revealing, underwear should not be visible. Caps, hats, T-shirts with provocative
prints and belly/back-free tops or shorts/skirts shorter than extended finger tips are
not allowed.
• During a Study Hour, students are not allowed to walk through the corridors.
Students must decide at the beginning of the lesson where they want to spend the
time: in the Study Room - quiet working in the library - quiet working, in the
schoolyard - working and playing.
• During Study Hours, S5-S7 students can use the designated learning zones and use
their laptops and smartphones for learning and preparation purposes. The use of
headphones is NOT allowed.
• During Study Hours, S1-S4 students can use the space behind the fish tank and the
main study area.
• Lockers may only be used at the beginning and end of the breaks. Students will
receive a personal PIN.
• Food may not be consumed in the classroom. The teacher may allow you to drink
water. Food may only be consumed in the school restaurant.
• Equipment and facilities made available to members of the school community must
be handled with the utmost care. This also applies to desks, books and other learning
materials.

6
Student Handbook Secondary School
School Year 2021/22

• Parents will be charged for any damage to devices or equipment for which students
are responsible.
• Mobile phones must be switched off and left in the rucksack or locker. The use of
mobile phones is only allowed for students of the S5 - S7 and only in the designated
areas, not between lessons and in the corridors. Should a student need to make an
important call, he/she must report to the fish tank.
• During the morning and lunch break students are not allowed in the classroom or in
the corridor.
• It is forbidden to leave litter in the building or on the school grounds.
• It is strictly forbidden to bring and/or consume alcohol on the school premises or on
school trips. It is also strictly forbidden to bring dubious literature, weapons or
other objects with a risk of injury to the school.
Smoking is strictly forbidden on school grounds and school property. Smoking in the
vicinity of the school grounds is not recommended.
• Posters or other displays by students must be approved by the management before
they are put up. Once approved, posters are expected to be removed after the agreed
period.
• Approval must be obtained from the management before selling goods/snacks.
• Possession, use or trade of illegal drugs will result in immediate expulsion from the
school.
• For safety reasons, school bags and backpacks must not be left lying around in the
corridors, on/under the stairs or open areas.

5 Good to Know

The following is a brief summary of important information.

5.1 Coming and Leaving ESRM

The safety of students and adults arriving and leaving ESRM is of utmost importance to us.
For this reason, specific guidelines are defined here, which are to be adhered to by staff,
students and parents alike.

Pedestrians
For students arriving or leaving ESRM by foot, recommended safe routes are defined, see
the website. We emphasise that the school cannot guarantee a secure journey for pedestrians
who use alternative routes; for example not making use of the bridge across Theodor-Heuss-
Strasse.

Vehicles - “Drop and Go”

Cars dropping off students at the school can be a source of severe congestion, which can
become a safety hazard. To minimise this risk, we have a “Drop and Go” zone. Students
should make sure to use the walkway to enter the school buildings and parents are kindly

7
Student Handbook Secondary School
School Year 2021/22

asked to leave the premises as quickly as possible. The “Drop and Go” area should not be
used as parking spaces.

Visitor Parking
Visitors during the school day and parents who have an appointment are kindly asked to use
the visitor parking provided at the north of the school building (enter the site from
Friedberger Str.) Visitors then have to enter the school buildings via the security office
behind the main gates.

Student Parking
Students who drive to school in their own cars, are not allowed to park in the staff car park
or in the “Drop and Go” area in front of the main entrance or further above opposite the
sports hall. Students may use the gravel parking area opposite the school on the other side of
the road.

Cyclists
There are bicycle stands behind the main gates under the “bridge” and opposite the entrance
to the sport hall. Please be reminded that bicycles should be locked and are left at the
owners’ own risk.

Please be aware that in-liners, skateboards, kick-boards and similar equipment must be left
in the appropriate stands or in the entrance to the administration building and have no place
in the school building, nor should they be used on the school premises.

5.2 On the School Premises

Students are not allowed to leave the school premises unattended unless they have written
permission from their parents to go home during free periods, at the beginning or end of the
school day. During breaks, students (except S6 and S7 students with a school ID card) must
remain on school grounds. During the lunch break, students may stay in the school
restaurant. Secondary school students may not enter the schoolyard of the primary school.

5.3 Library

The library supports you with questions related to reading, media use and also when seeking
for information. Your librarian, Mrs. Kirmse, will be happy to assist you and is available to
answer your questions at all times.
The library offers you a quiet place to study and read as well as plenty of media to check out
and benefit from. Apart from that the library is used as a classroom and for events and in
these cases will remain closed. Please make sure to pay attention to the notices at the library
entrance.
Your suggestions for new acquisitions are welcome. All suggestions will be collected and we
will make sure to purchase as many suggested items as possible.
All members of the school community are automatically members of the school library and
therefore agree to the terms of use / library rules.

8
Student Handbook Secondary School
School Year 2021/22

Anyone using the library facility has to make sure not to disturb others. All media and
furniture need to be handled with care to avoid any damage or loss.
The library rules, opening hours, lending rules, library fees and all other information on the
library are published in detail on our website as well as the homepage of the library
catalogue.
Once a loan period has expired reminders will be sent to your e-mail address. If you renew
the loan or return the overdue media within the first week no late-fee will be charged.
You will find the links to the catalogue and many other useful links, for example to the
Britannica School, e-book-portal and more on iServ.
Your password for the library catalogue and for the use of E-Books is your student-ID
(student ID card) and your birthdate in the following format DD/MM/YYYY. After loggin
on media can be reserved and lending period can be extended. The Britannica School ID will
be sent to you by e-mail and can also be given to you in the library.

5.4 Consequences of Inappropriate Behaviour

By applying consequences for inappropriate behaviour (serious misbehaviour or clear refusal

to comply with the rules), the school aims to educate students to behave responsibly.
Furthermore, students learn that actions have an impact and lead to consequences. These
consequences are necessary and are communicated to the students through constructive
dialogue. This should help the students to understand and accept the necessity of the rules
and their compliance. A clear description of disciplinary consequences can be found in the
General Rules of the European Schools, Ref.: 2014-03-D-14-en-10, Chapter VI, Discipline
Articles 40, 41, 42, 43, Discipline Councils Article 44.

5.5 School Nurse

A nurse is available on the school premises every day during school hours (Mo-Thu until
3pm, Fri until 1pm).
Children who fall ill at school shall only be allowed to go home after having seen the school
nurse, Ms. Wiesner. Students who visit the nurse need a permission slip from a teacher or
Pedagogical Advisor. Please get in touch with Ms. Wiesner, our school nurse, if you have
further questions (b.wiesner@es-rm.eu).

5.6 Student Absences and Punctuality

The pedagogical advisors (PAs) must be informed as early as possible by e-mail to:
abwesend.sekundar@es-rm.net about absences of secondary school students by their
parents. If a student is absent for more than two days, a medical certificate is required, which
must be submitted when returning to school. Regular attendance is required by law.
Repeated unexcused absences or delays have consequences.

9
Student Handbook Secondary School
School Year 2021/22

Classes begin for period 1 at 8:40am sharp. Students should wait quietly outside the
classroom for the teacher. If a teacher is not there 5 minutes after the start of the lesson, a
student should notify the PAs in the Fish Tank.
Students who are late for class should be able to give the PAs and teachers a plausible reason
for being late. In this case they will receive a "Late Pass", otherwise they will be noted as
"late". 3 unexplained "lates" will result in detention.

Detailed information can be found in the appendix in Art. 30 of the General School Rules.

5.7 School Calendar

The school publishes an annual calendar, which is updated regularly. Important events are
posted on the ESRM website.

5.8 School Restaurant

The school restaurant is open for secondary school students during breaks and lunchtime.
Here you can buy snacks. Students are guests and should not leave food on tables and chairs.
Before leaving they are asked to place their used trays in the rack provided.
Signing up to school meals: http://restaurant.es-rm.eu/

5.9 The European Schools Website

6 General Information on Curriculum, Assessment and Report Cards

Students enter secondary school at about 11 after completing primary school at a European
School or an equivalent officially recognised course at another school. The secondary school
consists of 7 years.

S1-S3
A common curriculum is used, which is called the "observation phase". Most subjects are
taught in the mother tongue. In the first year students have a second foreign language as a
"working language" and in the third year Human Science is taught in their working
language (L2). Latin is offered as an optional subject in the second year. There are no B-tests
or long tests.

S4-S5
In the "pre-orientation phase", the compulsory subjects are part of the Natural Sciences such
as Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and the Human Sciences such as Geography and
History. Students can choose between an intensive or basic course in Maths. Other options
include Economics, a third foreign language (L4), Latin, Art, Music and ICT.

11
Student Handbook Secondary School
School Year 2021/22

S6-S7
Years 6 and 7 are the "orientation phase" and act as a unit leading to the European
Baccalaureate. Although a number of compulsory subjects are required (mother tongue, L2,
a science subject, Philosophy, Sport, Religion or Ethics, History and Geography), students
also have a wide choice of electives, as they can often choose between two-hour and four-
hour or advanced courses.

Students' performance is assessed regularly. Report cards are issued four times a year. The
evaluation is based on both classroom performance and test results. Transfer guidelines are
set by the Board of Governors and decide whether or not a student can be transferred to the
next grade at the end of the year. Students who do not meet these requirements will usually
have to repeat the year.

12
Student Handbook Secondary School
School Year 2021/22

6.1 Assessment

In years S1 - S5, a student passes with a mark of 5 (Sufficient - grade E). This can only be
achieved if performance meets the requirements of the performance index. The marking
system uses numerical and alphabetical grades. In years S1 - S3, only letters will be used as
grades to tie in with the holistic assessment applied in primary school.

Grading system for S1-S7

S1-S3 = grades, S4-S5 = numerical (half) marks

6.2 Report Cards

Report Cards (see General Rules of the European Schools, Article 60, www.eursc.eu, Basic
Texts, 2014-03-D-14-en-10)

S1 - S6
• November: Report with commented messages and, if necessary, with notes.
• January: Semester report, if necessary with statement of the class conference.
• March/April: Report with annotated notes, possibly with grades, possibly with
reference to the existing danger of having to repeat the class. Even if no notification
has been made about the danger of having to repeat the class, this is neither a
guarantee of promotion to the next higher class nor a formal error at the assessment
conference at the end of the year regarding promotion. If a student's legal
representatives receive a notification of the risk of repetition, they must, in turn,
forward to the school, without being asked, any information they have that could
influence the deliberations of the forthcoming class conference.
• July: annual report with the decision to transfer.

S7
• End of February: semester certificate
• Before the start of the written exams of the European Baccalaureate: notification of
the preliminary grade

6.3 Promotion

Promotion (see General School Regulations of the European Schools, www.eursc.eu, Basic
Texts, 2014-03-D-14-en-10)

S1 - S3
Since it is not possible to calculate an average of end marks, the class conferences will make
their decisions using a compensation rule.

Students who have achieved a mark E or higher in each of the subjects relevant to
promotion (basic subjects and others, excluding Religion and Ethics and optional subjects)
are transferred to the next higher class.

Students who have not reached the grade target can now use a new compensation system to
compensate for grades lower than E in accordance with the current promotion rules.
• Every F must be balanced with a D (or a higher grade),
• Every FX must be balanced with a grade B (or A) OR with a grade C and a grade D
or higher OR with three grades D or higher.
Students who have not achieved this goal (at least one E in either three or more compulsory
subjects (Language 1, Maths, Language 2, Human Sciences, ICT and Language 3), or in two
compulsory subjects plus at least 2 or more optional subjects (Art, Music, Physical

14
Student Handbook Secondary School
School Year 2021/22

Education, Latin, ICT and ONL), and cannot compensate for their inadequate marks, are not
moved to the next higher class.

S4 - S6
Whoever achieves at least 5/10 in each subject relevant to the transfer will be automatically
transferred to the next higher class without the need for coordination.

The situation of the students who are not automatically transferred will be checked
separately. Based on all available information, the class conference decides whether to
transfer the student to the next higher class or not.

Those who have not achieved an overall average grade of 5/10 in the subjects relevant to
dislocation and who have achieved either 4 or more grades under 5 in the subjects relevant
to promotion will not be transferred to the next higher class.

S7
To successfully complete the European Baccalaureate, the student must achieve an average
grade of 5.00 or higher.

student shall be deemed to have left the school. The student’s legal
representatives shall be so informed by registered mail.
ii. Should repeated unauthorised absences of one or more periods continue to
occur after the Director’s warning, the Disciplinary Council may decide on
the student’s exclusion.
iii. In the secondary cycle, should the number of periods during which a student
is absent from a course be such that there is a risk that it will not be possible
for an A mark to be awarded, the Director will warn the student’s legal
representatives of the consequences outlined in paragraph e) for years 4-6 and
in paragraph g) for year 7.
iv. If, at the end of the first term or semester, the number of absences seems

his/her absence, immediately or the next day. In cases of illness, a medical
certificate is mandatory to justify the absence. In all other cases, the Director
will decide whether or not the absence is justified.
ii. A student who is absent (for a valid reason) from one or more first semester
written examinations and has not had the opportunity to take a substitute
examination, but who takes the second semester examinations in the same
subjects, will have his/her final annual marks calculated on the basis of the
results achieved in the second semester.
iii. A student who is absent (for a valid reason) from one or more second semester
written examinations and has not had the opportunity to take a substitute
examination shall be required to sit a promotion examination early in the new
school year in the subjects he/she has missed, unless he/she achieved a mark
of at least 7 in these subjects in the first semester and an A mark of at least 7
in the second semester.
iv. If a student is absent for a valid reason for the examinations in one or more
subjects in the first and in the second semester, he/she shall be required to sit
promotion examinations in the subjects which he/she has missed.

semester cannot be awarded, the A marks for class work in the second
semester will be doubled for calculation of the final mark.
ii. If this absence means that a student cannot be awarded A marks for either the
first or the second semester, it will not be possible for him/her to take the
Baccalaureate examinations that year.
iii. In the event of frequent periodic absences in year 7, the Class Council shall be
required to decide whether the student’s studies conform to the rules and
may, in certain cases, call into question the validity of his/her registration for
the Baccalaureate, determination of the A mark being jeopardised.
h) Absences from part examinations in year 7: B marks
Without prejudice to the provisions of Article 8 of the Arrangements for
implementing the Regulations for the European Baccalaureate:

from outside sneakers), shorts/sweatpants and T-shirts/sweatshirts, which are worn at an
appropriate length for an activity class. Watches and jewelry are prohibited during class.
Any student who does not follow the rules for appropriate clothing or does not change their
clothes, will have consequences that will negatively affect their participation mark or A
mark.

Attendance and Absences

Attendance will be taken at the beginning of class. Students who are not participating will
remain with the class (exceptions possible, if long term). Students who cannot participate
due to medical reasons must bring a note preferably on that day or within the week.
• Parent’s marks are valid for two classes

described in the General Rules of the European Schools, article 30.

7.4 General Ruless for the Use of Computer and Multimedia Facilities

Social Media Apps / What’s App/Use of Smart Phones

Whilst new technology has a valuable role to play on our society, responsible use is
imperative. Where parents allow their child to have a Smart Phone and access to Apps such
as What’s App, it is important that they inform themselves of the legal rules and regulations
and are aware of the age restrictions to use these apps, e.g. Whats App is for people above
16. We as a school cannot be responsible for what students do on-line outside or within our
premises on their private mobile phones. Thus, parents and students must exercise caution,
due diligence and integrity. Parents have to accept that they have the legal and moral
responsibility to supervise, inform and manage their children’s use of digital media and
communication. This includes the provision of mobile phones and relevant apps which they
can use. As with any serious bullying, discrimination, verbal or sexually motivated abuse
within context of the school, a realistic option could also be permanent expulsion.

Access to the School Network

Each authorised user receives a personal username and a password with which to log on the
school network. At the same time access is given to a personal directory (storage space). It
must be noted that the disclosure of the password and the storing of data in unprotected
areas poses a significant security risk. Therefore, the personal password must be kept secret.
Personal files must be stored only in the protected personal directory.
Working using a different user ID and password other than your own is prohibited. Those
who come across or find a strange password, have to report this immediately to a teacher or
to the system administrator. Your personal password should be changed at regular intervals.
Protection of the Equipment

22
Student Handbook Secondary School
School Year 2021/22

To ensure the longest possible lifespan of the equipment, all users are obliged to handle and
treat equipment carefully.
It is forbidden to consume food and drinks at any computer or in a computer room (ICT
room).
Any change to, damage to, misuse of, or theft of hardware or software is prohibited.
Changes in the installation and configuration of workstations and the network, and
tampering with the hardware or any equipment are prohibited.
External devices may be connected with the approval of the administrator or under
supervision of an authorized person and only for the use of school related tasks.
Defects that are noticed before or occur during use must be reported immediately.

Prohibited Use
The statutory provisions, criminal law, copyright law and the protection of minors must be
observed. In particular, it is forbidden to enter, save or send pornographic content, content
that glorifies violence or racist content. If such content is accidentally encountered, the
application must be closed and the supervisor notified right away. It is forbidden to
download or use any software or devices that are suitable to spy on or access data or files of
other users or to circumvent restrictions.
It is forbidden to copy the school installed software, to manipulate it or to take it out of
school.
In the library, the use of computer games is not allowed.

Data Protection and Data Security

The European and German Data Protection laws are to be observed.
The school is entitled to exercise its supervisory duty to save the data traffic and control its
flow. Users are responsible to manage their own storage space.
In cases of alleged abuse and suspicion the school will make use of its access to take samples
and conduct monitoring under the supervision of the Supervisor.
Any inconsistent procedures or findings will be recorded.
The school has the right to deny access to services and content centrally, if deemed legally
or educationally necessary.

Use of Internet Services

The Internet should in principle only be used for educational purposes.
Unnecessary data traffic through the loading and sending of large files (videos, music,
graphics, programs) should be avoided.
The school is not responsible for the content of third parties on the Internet and can block
access to such content for pedagogical and legal reasons.
Entering into contractual relationships or fee-based services in the name of the school is
forbidden.
In processing and using of data or information from the Internet the copyright and rights of
the owners must be observed.
The dissemination of information that is contrary to the objectives, rules and ethos of the
European School RheinMain or that violates the privacy rights of others is prohibited.

Violations of these Terms and Conditions

Violations of these terms and conditions can have disciplinary consequences.
If necessary, the user authorization can be restricted or revoked.
The confirmation of intentional damage can lead to claims for damages.
Anyone who violates the applicable laws is punishable by law and must expect civil and
criminal consequences.

Final Provisions
These Regulations shall enter into force on the date of their publication.
They will be posted in the school and published on the school's homepage. All users will be
informed at the beginning of each new school year as well as after changes to the regulations
