LEARNING V/S E- LEARNING ON STUDENT’S PERFORMANCE

Online learning is increasingly popular nowdays , and this trend is
here to say . With more flexibility , self – directed study options , and
access to the same instructors and teachers as traditional learning ,
it’s no surprise that online learning is popular .
Traditional education , also known as back to basics , conventional
education refers to long – established customs that society
traditionally used in schools . Some form of education reform
promote the adoption of progressive education practices , a more
holistic approach which focuses on individual student’s needs and
self control.

MEASURING UP : ONLINE LEARNING VS TRADITIONAL LEARNING
1. ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING VS SYCHRONOUS LEARNING
All the instructors and students are present in traditional
learning . With online learning , this is not necessary online
instructions can be either synchronous or asynchronous.
2. DELIVERING KNOWLEDGE VS FACILITATING LEARNING
In traditional learning , instructors are usually just delivering
knowledge and then assessing the understanding of the
knowledge at a later date.
3. TEACHER VS CHILD LED ADVANCEMENT
While both online and traditional learning can have
components of both students -led and teacher -led curriculum ,
online study lends itself better to student – led advancement
and learning .
