Touch panel update--Regular Mode

1. Copy the TpUpdate-1.1.2.084_S20.utp in to the empty USB and


plug it into the port of the touch panel.
2. Press and hold the TP button unit it go into the update page.

3. Plug the USB to the port of touch panel on the right-side.


4. Click System Update to finish the process.

1.If the unit cannot go into the update page through regular mode.
2. Continue pressing Freeze after the unit boot up.
3. Click Update to finish the process.

1. Boot up the S20 and put the Bootable CD into the Unit (11.3 for
Regular monitor, 11.4 for Wide monitor).
2. Connect a keyboard and empty USB. booT
3. Boot up the unit and continue pressing Delete to go into the BIOS
system.
4. Set the CD as the Default Boot Disk, then Save & Exit.

5. Waiting, when screen show us “Press enter key to shutdown:” , press


“Enter” key to shut down PC.

6. After Unit shut down, remove the USB drive.

7. Boot up the Unit, and remove the Bootable CD disk.

8. Check the bootable size, the right size is 558MB(11.3 version) and
615MB(11.4 version)

1. Copy software to Bootable USB

Copy the adata and asecure to ‘update’ folder in the Bootable USB

2. Copy aconfig, keypass, TpUpdate to Root of the Bootable USB

3. Plug the USB and an external keyboard to the port of the S20
on the Back or left side.

4.Boot up the S20, keep pressing Delete key on the USB-keyboard

5.when the system request a password, type in ‘ service ’ and press


Enter key directly.

6.Then the system goes to BIOS setting interface

7. Choose Boot:
Boot Hard Disk Drives 1st drive  USB drive

8. Exit->Save Changes and Exit->OK

9. Then the update program will runs automatically. Wait


till a prompt message appear.

10. Input ‘forcekill’, then press Enter key

11. Check all the steps are show green DONE. If not, need to
re-make the bootable USB.
12. When the below message shows up, press Enter key,
System will automatically shut down.

1.Remove the bootable USB.


Remove the USB-keyboard.

2.Re-boot the S20 machine,


wait for the system running to
the EXAM interface.

3.Plug Bootable USB in the S20


machine again

4.press the TP key make the touch panel show us the soft keyboard.

5.Press Shift, E, Setup keys one by one go to next interface

6. Input the 5-digit Yearly password, and click Enter key

Note: SonoScape will provide two types of password,


Yearly password(5-digit) and Monthly password(6-digit). You can check
it from the engineer's email signature.

7.Choose GO, then press ‘ Set ’ button and wait to finish.

8.Press Menu button to the EXAM to exit.

1. Press Shift, E, Setup keys one by one go to next interface

2. Input the 6-digit Monthl password, and click Enter key

3.Choose IN, then press ‘ Set ’ button, and wait about 5 minutes

4.Press ‘ Menu ’ key to the EXAM interface

5.Remove the Bootable USB

6.Press ‘ Setup ’ key to system setting interface

7.Choose ‘ System Information ’  ‘ DIAGNO ’ to the below interface

8.Input 5-digit Yearly password , then click Enter to next interface

9. Choose ‘ Dealer Config ’ to next interface.

10. Click ‘ i ’ directly on the touch panel

11. After system will show a OK


message on the screen, then turn off
the machine
