EXPOSITORY ESSAY:

ATHEISM
Atheism is a belief where people deny God or any higher power. These
people lack faith in religion and any deities. They rely only in facts or
science.
Atheism, in general, the critique and denial of metaphysical beliefs in
God or spiritual beings. Atheism is also distinguished from agnosticism,
which leaves open the question whether there is a god or not. Also
trying their best to find answer to God’s existence.
As a whole, the main core of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam is faith in
one, and only one, God. They believe that the existence of God resulted
in the creation of the universe, and He’s the only one in control.
However, atheism rejects it all by the question; “If God created the
universe, then who or what created God?”
Atheist don’t use God to explain the existence of the universe. They
analyze, hypothesize and theorize based on what they observe in the
cosmos.
These are the reason why Atheists have stopped believing in religion;
 They find insufficient evidence to support any religion
 They think religion is nonsensical
 They once had a religion and have lost faith in it.
 Religions seem to have done a lot of harm in the world. (War,
lootings, church servants raping/sexualizing minors, etc...)

Atheists are as moral (or immoral) as religious people.

In practical terms atheists often follow the same moral code as religious
people, but they arrive at the decision of what is good or bad without
any help from the idea of God.
In conclusion, Atheism is valid and cannot be taken away from people.
You can’t blame them in their lack of faith in religion and most
importantly they are not bad people and most of them are genius and
have made a great impact in the world. (Such as Stephen Hawking, Fay
Ajzenberg-Selove, Philip W. Anderson, Svante Arrhenius…)
