System Application and Products in Data Processing
Note: Five options while Creating new data: (a) Create – Create New Data (b) Change – Changing Existing Data (c) Display – Just to View the Data and Can not be Modified (d) Block/Unblock – Blocking the Data/Unblocking the Data (e) Flag for deletion –Deleting the Data Permanentitly (f) Account group Change [Only for Vendor and Customer]
Four Types of Modes :
(I) Edit Mode or Optional entry: Data entry is Optional or Data can be Modifiable(like Create, Change, Delete) (II) Mandatory Mode or Required Entry: Data entry is Must, We can not skip the entry (III) Display Mode or View Mode: Data Can not Modifiable but Only Can View (IV) Suppress Mode or Hide Mode: Data is in Suppress Mode or in Hide Mode Number Ranges: It's range between Two Numbers Which is used to assign the Document identification key. Number range is contain mainly Two parts: * From number and To Number: Where From Number is the beginning Number(and It is Small) and To Number is Ending Number(and It is bigger) * Types of Numbers Ranges: (a) Internal Number range: Numbering happens automatically in a series manner while creating Document where range is fixed (b) External Number range: Numbering assigned in Manually in a random manner while creating Document where range is fixed * Current Number: Which gives the Status of the Number range and which can be Modifiable based on Client requirement * All Number ranges identified through its key's, that keys may be in Alpha, Numerical or Alpha Numerical (a) Display Intervals: To View the Intervals available to assign the Account group (b) Status: Change the Current Status of the Number from existing to required status (d) Change Intervals: To Create the New Number change Intervals based on the Client requirement
Define Screen Layout at Document Level:
Making the entries Mandatory, Optional, Suppress and Display for the Client (or SAP User) based on Client’s requirement in Display IMG is Called Screen Layout at Document Level
