 There is a lack of commitment among employees because higher-level administration


and officials are not committed and deeply involved.

Solution: In order to increase the level of commitment among employees the higher level
administration and officials have to be committed. They can only be committed if they are given
an incentive.
 Another problem is unwilling workers in Dell. As they feel that the execution
of the new learning process will likely unexpectedly influence their lives and
they are hesitant to adopt change.

Solution: The workers of Dell have to be completely informed about the general ideas of the
change. They should be given incentives so adopt the change. The incentives could be financial
or verbal appraisal or promotion.

 The absence of visionary leadership is another challenge confronted by Dell


company. Excessively detached leadership isn’t reaching to get the work
done with organizational learning.

Solution: the Visionary leadership can be developed if the motto or goal of the company is well
defined. So, to promote leadership commitment, the overall goals of the organization have to
well defined.

 The nonappearance of a learning environment either from Dell’s


administration or representatives is a barrier too in the learning process.

Solution: When the goals of the organization are well defined, the leadership is committed,
incentives are provided, the learning environment will develop. Open environment where
employees can fail freely without being judged can promote learning.

 Some procedures are time taking and make the progress slow and decrease
the work efficiency.

Solution: Time taking and unnecessary procedures that reduces the overall efficiency of the
organization should be discarded immediately.
