Kukdo Chemical YD-128

Kukdo Chemical EPOKUKDO YD-128 is a standard liquid bis phenol A epoxy

resin. EPOKUKDO YD-128 provides excellent adhesion, chemical resistance,
and heat resistance to formulations. Suitable for use in coatings, electric and/or
electronic applications, civil construction applications, adhesives, composites,
and as a stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride. EPOKUKDO YD-128 is particularly
suitable for use in ambient cured coatings, electronic encapsulations, laminations
and castings, grouting materials, metal, glass and stone adhesives, and filament
winding composites. EPOKUKDO YD-128 is often cured with various hardeners
including: polyamide resins, aromatic polyamines, aliphatic polyamines, and
anhydrides. EPOKUKDO YD-128 is supplied as a viscous liquid. EEW 184-190
g/eq, 11,500-13,500 cps at 25C

Aditya Birla Chemicals Epotec YD-128 represents a significantly better value.
Epotec YD-128 is also a standard liquid bis phenol A epoxy resin. Epotec YD-128
can be used as a direct drop-in replacement for EPOKUKDO YD-128. Epotec
YD-128 specifications are as follows: EEW 185-194 g/eq, 11,000-14,000 cps at
25C. Epotec YD-128 is recommended for use in solvent based high solids and
solvent-free coatings, adhesives, construction applications, automotive coatings,
can & coil coatings, marine and industrial protective coatings, tooling, potting,
casting and moulding compounds, and composites. Epotec YD-128 can be
cured with a wide variety of curing agents at ambient and elevated temperatures.
