Significance of the Study

This study aims to see how financial literacy and saving behavior affect

retirement confidence among government employees in Cavite. Moreover, this study

will be beneficial to the following:

For the Government Employees, this study will give them further knowledge on

how to be financial literate and how it will affect their saving behavior and retirement

confidence.

For the Financial Advisors, this study may be a guide in businesses and

individuals in decisions about expending money to attain profit. Through the provided

information, these will serve as the knowledge and expertise to construct personalized

financial plans that aim to achieve the financial goals, basis in providing orientations and

strategies to the government employees.

Lastly, for the students, future researchers and members of academe,

particularly in field of Management and Finance, may be guided to conduct studies

related that might further improve and contribute to the increasing literature. This study

will give them initial information and guidelines that they can use for future study or

related study about this matter. This study can serve as a reliable source for easier

gathering of information about the same matter.
