    Nationalists.
    So Let's Begin !
    Assertive Also Known as Radicals and were the members of

    Nationalists.
    Second phase of Indian national Movement.
    They just want complete independence.
    Failure of Early Nationalists was just because young
    members of INC were not satisfied with the working
    Basics of Moderates.
    Second Reason can be the loyalty of Moderates to
    Crown.
    They were influenced by international events like
    they were inspired by Japan when they defeated
    Russia in Russo-Japanese War.
    Boers fought for 3 Years in Africa against British.
    Assertive Nationalist like Rajnarain Bose , Ashwin Kumar Dutt ,

    Nationalists.
    Vishnu Shastri Chiplunkar believed that no sacrifice
    is adequate for independence.
    Lord Curzon 's repressive policies like Act of 1898
    Which made it an offence to provoke people against
    Basics English and Indian Universities Act of 1904 made it
    difficult for Assertives to hold on.
    Partition of Bengal by Lord Curzon in West and East
    Bengal on the pretext of Administrative
    Convenience.
    Real Reason was to create a rift between Hindu and
    Muslims.
    East Bengal - Muslim and West Bengal - Hindu
    Majority Region
    Assertive Swadeshi (Means use of Self Made Goods) and to hit

    Nationalists.
    british economic intrests and they were produced by
    indigineous industries.
    Boycott of British Goods and Boost Indian Industries.

    Urged Students to enroll in National School.
    Also tried to provide free education in Vernacular
    Languages.
    Passive Resistance - Policy of Non - Violent
    Resistance and strong political Actions and also
    urged people not to cooperate with government.
    Assertive 1908 - Tilak was sentenced 6 years imprisonment in

    Nationalists.
    Mandalay. Lala Lajpat Rai was depoted to Burma
    without any trial.
    Achievements -:
    Government Exposed Hollowness of British.
    Repression Large Mass Participation because of the use of
    Vernacular Languages
    Cancellation of Partition of Bengal was done largely
    due to them.
    By Swadeshi and Boycott Ideas.
    Tilak Started Ganpati Festival to spread nationalism
    through songs and speeches.
    Assertive Father of Assertive Nationalism

    Nationalists.
    Founded Poona New English School and Deccan
    Education society under the guidance of Justice
    Ranade in 1884.
    Bal Gandgadhar Said "Swaraj is My Birthright and i shall have it".
    Tilak Newspaper - Kesari (Marathi) and Maharatta (English)
    Assertive Father of Revolutionary Thoughts.

    Nationalists.
    Newspaper - Bengal Public Opinion , The Tribune and
    New India.
    Was in Favour of Imparting National Education
    Bipin Chandra Opposed Oppresive Caste System.
    Wanted to tax rich more than poor.
    Pal
    Forceful speech in madras to repeal the Arms Act.
    Assertive Punjab Kesari or Sher - e - Punjab.

    Nationalists.
    He was also elected as the President of INC.
    Magazine - Young India.
    Newspaper - Punjabi , Vande Mataram and People.
    Significant Role in Expanding DAV College at lahore.
    Lala Lajpat Rai He led a possesion at lahore against Simon
    Commision in 1928 and received grave injuries during
    lathi charge and died a month later.
