Assertive Also Known as Radicals and were the members of

Nationalists.
Second phase of Indian national Movement.
They just want complete independence.
Failure of Early Nationalists was just because young
members of INC were not satisfied with the working

Second Reason can be the loyalty of Moderates to
Crown.
They were influenced by international events like
they were inspired by Japan when they defeated
Russia in Russo-Japanese War.

Mandalay. Lala Lajpat Rai was depoted to Burma
without any trial.

Repression Large Mass Participation because of the use of
Vernacular Languages
Cancellation of Partition of Bengal was done largely
due to them.

Tilak Started Ganpati Festival to spread nationalism
through songs and speeches.
