General Information

1. Participant of e-Poster Session can submit more than 1 (one) abstract. The Committee will only accept the
original scientific material which has not been presented or published before. The published or presented ab-
stract would not be accepted and will be excluded.
2. Abstracts Submission Extended Until 31st October 2021. The abstract should be submitted online only via 
email to pinpetri.id@gmail.com and abstracts submit button. Please include contact details of corresponding
author, including institutional addresses, e-mail, telephone number or facsimile.
3. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Committee. Acceptance or rejection of abstract will be notified
to the submitters on the date of notification of abstract acceptance. The announcement of abstracts accep-
tance will be sent via email on 3rd November 2021.
4. All presenters must be registered as the participant of National Scientific Meeting of Tropical Medicine
and Infectious Disease (PIN PETRI) 2021.
5. Three best e-Poster will be chosen by the Scientific Committee and will receive monetary awards and certif-
icates. The award ceremony will be held during the Closing Session.

Guidelines for Abstract Preparation

1. All abstract should be submitted in English. All data must be in narrative form.
2. All abstracts and posters must be free from branding and refer to products using generic names.
3. Submitted abstracts may be edited up to the abstract submission deadline by emailing to scientific com-
mittee. Abstracts cannot be edited or revised in any way after the deadline. The responsibility for the submis-
sion of an accurate and precise abstract lies solely with the authors.
4. The abstract text should be consisted of maximum 300 words with 1½ spacing, size 12 Times New Roman,
and using Microsoft Word for Windows including keywords

Guidelines for Abstract Preparation

5. The abstract should be informative as possible
a. A title that clearly indicates the nature of investigation needs to be provided, with maximal of 20 words.
b. Author’s name should be in first–last name format, capitalized on the first letter of each name, and must
be written without degree. Presenting author’s name should be highlighted (with bold and underline).
A maximum of 8 authors are allowed for one abstract.
c. Authors’ affiliation should contain the name of institution and the city with maximum 3 affiliations
per author.
d. The abstract structure consists of :
i. Researches : Abstract should be in structured form including: Introduction, Objectives, Method, Result,
and Discussion
ii. Case report should include Introduction, Case Illustration, and Discussion
iii. Graphic, tables, pictures and references should not be included in the abstract.
iv. Only commonly accepted abbreviations should use (e.g. Hb, CRP, etc.)
v. Keywords can be written up to 5 keywords

Guidelines for the e-Poster Preparation

1. All accepted abstracts should be made into e-Poster, which will be displayed in the Poster Screen
throughout the days of scientific symposium.
2. Posters will be displayed on one sheet of image in English. The poster should be consisted of texts, figures,
tables, and photos (If applicable). The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 80 cm x 120 cm in
size (orientation: landscape), e-poster size is 1125 x 2000 pixel with the format 9:16 in PDF format.

3. The text, illustrations, etc. should be clear enough to be read. Author’s name, affiliations and countries
should be included on the poster. The title should be the same as the one in your abstract.
4. All participants are expected to upload their posters before November 8th, 2021.
