1. DESCRIPTION OF THE WATCH
The master watchmakers at Audemars Piguet have adap-
ted one of the most fantastical inventions of the 18th cen-
tury to today’s tastes: the aperture watch.

Each of the three slim rotary discs, finely cut in translu-

cent sapphire, indicates four hours of the day and descri-
be, one by one, the arc of the minutes.

Through the face you can admire the automatic move-

ment, assembled entirely by hand, whose every compo-
nent, both minuscule and delicate, move in rhythm with
time.

Indications supplied by the watch:

Hours – minutes.
Indicators:
Hour indicator discs
Minute indicator sector

Your watch is fitted with a crown with two positions:

A Crown in manual winding position.
B Crown in time-setting position.
2. OPERATION
2.1. If your watch has stopped
Several turns of the crown (approx. 15 to 20 times) in
position A, will restart it.

2.2. How to read the time

English
The time is indicated by the figure on the disc in the
minute indicator sector. The small index at the centre of
the figure shows the minute systematically.

Example: quarter past ten

2.3. Setting the time

Warning: This delicate mechanism should not be turned
quickly. Turn the crown slowly and sensitively.

To set the time, pull the winding stem crown to

position B and turn slowly and sensitively to bring the
required figure exactly opposite the minute.
