Starter 5 min The teacher will start the class making a question: How do people describe art when they make or talk about it? Children will
reflect on the ways we can express ourselves using art.
Main 30 min Make a painting yourself according to inspiration of the painter: it is not the intention that they start to copy, but make a
creation themselves - create background with paint and with a choice of material: sponges, paint rollers, scouring pads, wool,
prop of newspapers, ... inspiration of infants.

Main 30 min The children collect leaves . If the leaves are wet they are dried with a paper towel. Space a leaf under the paper, the veins of
the leaf are on the visible side. Colour on the paper using the long side of a crayon so that it makes the edges and veins of the
leaf to come up in colour. Colour many leaves on the paper. You can use different colours. The result is often very surprising
and exciting.

We found a place to start our elephant by finding the middle of the paper, and walking our non-drawing-hand finger over to
the left side. We made a dot there, to mark the spot.
