Problem 1
Due to the low level of banking among Africans, few Africans have access
to the large buying platforms such as Coinbase. Because few Africans
have a bank card

Problem 2
Many are unaware of the benefits of cryptocurrencies. Some have been
scammed by fake cryptocurrency investment platforms. There is still a
distrust of the population on crypto-currencies

Problem 3
Face to face transactions are still widely used in Africa (to exchange
bitcoin for CFA Francs for example). This causes a security problem during
transactions.
SOLUTION
Solution 1
We have created a platform that integrates local payment methods (Mobile Money),
Cameroonians can already get bitcoins and soon other cryptocurrencies, even if they do
not have a bank account or a debit card

Solution 2
We educate our customers. Many concepts around cryptocurrencies and blockchain are
still complicated for our customers. So we do trainings to educate them about the
benefits, uses and risks of this ecosystem.

Solution 3
Cameroonians can make international transfers with their cryptocurrencies from our
platform. And soon they will be able to pay their electricity, telephone and television
subscriptions in cryptocurrencies.

Service Step 1 2018

We learned about bitcoin around 2018, but we

were just observers.
Step 2 2020
In 2020, we started to hold our first bitcoin and
ethereum.
It is after having encountered difficulties to get
bitcoins in Cameroon that we decide to create Step 3 2021

our company in Cameroon in 2021, with as

product: a Web application that facilitates the
purchase of bitcoin.
This is the best time
The cryptocurrency craze has never been stronger in
Africa. More and more people want to know more, the
launch of the digital naira is just the start of a new wave
of mass adoption of crypto-currencies in Africa.

DuskSwap is positioning itself as a good alternative to

those 80% of Africans who don't have access to banking
