More and more Africans are turning to cryptocurrencies

such as bitcoin as a safe haven or alternative to their
often devalued local currency, or to avoid the high costs
of international money transfers. Some use it for online
payments and in restaurants. A new era of finance is
taking shape in Africa.
So, we have given ourselves the mission to accompany
emerging countries (especially African countries) in the
use of this new technology.

To reach our goal, the DUSK project was created. This project is based on several
axes.
A technological component: We develop the best tools to facilitate the entry of
Africans and other inhabitants of emerging countries in the world of
cryptocurrencies.
Thus we have developed the DuskSwap platform: it allows Africans to
to buy and sell cryptocurrencies easily using their local means of payment
(mobile money for example)
Education: We educate our users via training sessions on blockchain and
cryptocurrencies to teach them about the use of cryptocurrencies, risks and
concepts.

improving the tools and services of the DUSK project.

The Dusk project is an ecosystem of several projects. In addition to the broker

Duskswap (which was successfully launched) that is currently used by several
Africans, we are developing a cryptocurrency-based payment aggregator called
Duskpay.
We are also working on an NFT platform and a decentralized exchange and a
launchpad.

DuskSwap (www.duskswap.com) is our first product. DuskSwap allows you to buy, sell and
trade cryptocurrencies via mobile payments commonly known as Mobile Money.
Getting cryptocurrencies is sometimes difficult in Africa because on the one hand, only a
small part of the population is banked, and on the other hand, the majority of cryptocurrency
brokers only accept credit card payments.

The functioning of Duskswap can be summarized by the previous figure. Let's suppose that
a user X wants to perform a transaction on the platform (buy or sell). The execution flow of
the process will follow the following steps:
step 1: The initiation of the operation by the user. X enters the different data necessary
for the operation he wants to perform, and this through a dedicated graphic interface
step 2: Checking the market price of the corresponding cryptocurrency on several
exchange platforms. Once the transaction data are entered and validated, the system
will check the current price of the asset on several exchange platforms in order to get
the most benefit from it

Duskpay is designed as a set of APIs that can be directly integrated by code in different

It provides each user a dashboard allowing them to have an overview of all the
transactions they have made over customizable periods of time.

DuskPay is also a payment aggregator integrating the main payment methods found in
Africa.

We have also made it our mission to showcase African artists by creating the first
African NFT exposure platform.
African artists are very neglected, their works are sold at incredible prices but they get
only crumbs of these incomes.
We want to create a community of artists (DuskSwap Art | Facebook) who, thanks to
the blockchain, will be paid fairly for their work.

Decentralized Exchange

In order to guarantee the privacy of our users, we will develop a decentralized

exchange system to allow them to exchange crypto-currencies while maintaining
their anonymity and keeping their private keys.

Launchpad

Many blockchain-based projects are taking place in Africa, but have very little
visibility.
Africans have very little confidence in their institutions. Blockchain technology is
the vehicle of trust, and is now much coveted by African entrepreneurs, who are
developing many projects based on blockchain to replace current institutions and
restore confidence in the people.
These include projects in the field of pharmacy (to secure the circulation of drugs
and block the road to the intrusion of fake drugs), in the field of finance (fintech
that are against the hidden and high costs of money transfers) ...
Our Launchpad will highlight these projects to facilitate fundraising.

Market

Africa is the 2nd most populated continent in the world with a population of about
1.3 billion people.

Due to historical events: colonization, war, Africa suffers from a lack of financial
infrastructures. Only 43% of the population is banked.

However, it is this low level of banking that makes Africa the perfect continent for
cryptocurrencies. Because cryptocurrencies are a good alternative to their disastrous
financial system.
Using cryptocurrencies just require a smartphone and an internet connection.
The cryptocurrency market in Africa has grown by $106 billion between July 2020 and
June 2021, which represents a growth of nearly 1200%.

The P2P transactions in the world are more important in Africa.

Africa has topped peer-to-peer (P2P) payment platforms in terms of transaction volume across
all regions.

It is important to note that access to these digital currencies offers an alternative to

traditional intra-regional transfer payments and international money transfer
systems, as transferring funds via cryptocurrencies avoids paying high transfer fees.
Currently, African countries are among the countries with the highest money transfer
fees in the world. This could change with cryptocurrencies.
The amount of money sent to Africa by the African diaspora is increasing every year.

Remittances to Africa have been recorded at $102 billion in 2020, but in the absence of
in-depth statistical studies, the actual total is likely to be much higher.
