Search for three sample lesson plans online for Art. You can also check the DepEd
website for sample daily lesson plans (DLP) and daily lesson logs (DLL) in MAPEH.
Answer the following questions:
1.What are the components of the lesson plan in a DLP and DLL?
DLP Components
Objectives, Subject Matter, Reference, Materials, Learning Tasks, Evaluation and
Assignment
DLL Components
Layunin, Nilalaman, Kagamitang panturo, Pamamaraan, Mga tala, Pagninilay at
Takdang Aralin
2. Do you think all the components written are applicable in an art class?
For me, all the components given to the DLP and DLL are applicable in art class
especially arts needs an introduction and information fist then procedure to the learning
experience of the learners.
3. If yes, how? If not, how can it be further improved?
Both components of DLP and DLL start in objectives where introduce and have a goal
to be achieve for the learners. Then the subject matter to have an over all idea what is
the lesson all about. This will be proceed to the Procedure and process where the
lesson implemented and let the students learn more through interaction and
experiencing. Then all will end to activities where measure or determine the
understanding of the learners in arts.

CHALLENGE
In the sample daily lesson plans online, the part where preparations for materials,
logistics, and classroom management is not explicitly stated.
1. Do you think it should be included in making an activity plan for an art class?
For me the preparation for materials, logistics, and classroom management is not
be included to sample daily lesson plan because it was under to the responsibility of the
teacher to prepared materials before applying or executing the lesson in class. The
preparation of materials must be included under the materials that well prepared that
needed in discussion. Also the logistic and classroom management can include to the
preparation or procedure where the teacher orient the class what are the needed before
discussing the lesson. This three elements can be excluded but also included to other
categories to avoid confusion for the teachers and learners.
2.Are there any other criteria you may want to include in creating an art lesson? Discuss
it in class.
The criteria that I want to include to include in creating an art lesson is the
uniqueness and interpretation. This will enhance the art skills of the learners more to
think creative to make their work stand out or unique than others. This will encourage
more the artist or learners to think deeper and more as to create their masterpiece that
unique and beautiful. Also I want to include the interpretation of the art, it is more
beautiful if the message has its own purpose to convey for the viewer of the art. This
way the other people will have an interest to the art that have meaning and purpose as
its category. It is about the message who can reach the imagination and heart of the
viewer but also expressing more the self of the artist.
