Section A

Q1. (i) Discuss the main objective of pleading. Explain the fundamental rules of pleading in
civil suit.
(ii) Write a Short Note on Cause of action and Verification of Pleading

Q2. (i) 'X' wishes to gift his movable and immovable properties to 'W' his daughter on her
marriage. Draft a gift-deed on behalf of 'X' in favour of 'W'.
(ii) What do you understand by Power of Attorney and Letter of Authority?

Q3. (i) Draft a model mortgage deed.

(ii) Bharat offered to sale agricultural land admeasuring Ac 7-12 gts in sy.no.22 of the ‘x’
village of Ghanpur Station of Jangaon District for Rs. 20,00,000/- to Bhargav who accepted the
same and agreement of sale also executed in favour of Bhargav but Bharat has not executed a
sale deed as promised in the agreement in favour of Bhargav. Draft a legal notice to execute a
register sale deed in favour of Bhargav within 7 days from the date of receipt of said legal
notice?.

Q4. (i) Abhik files a suit against Bonny for recovery by his money lent to Bonny on a
promissory note. Bonny wishes to resist the suit. Draft a written statement on behalf of 'Bonny'.
(ii) Draft a bail application on behalf of the accused in the case of 307, Indian Penal Code. The
other co-accused has already been released on bail by the court.
Q5. (i) Seema is wife of Surender and is living separately because of sufficient reasons. Draft a
petition under Section 125 of CrPC .
(ii) 'Yash' was wrongfully detained by the police. His friend moves to the Supreme Court for a
writ of Habeas corpus. Draft the writ.
