Designed for urban life, these BONE Structure® inspirational homes stand

BONE Structure INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Our high performance integrated shell offers
extreme energy efficiency through a combination
of expanded polystyrene panels and closed cell
polyurethane foam insulation. Wall insulation is
at least R-28.5, while roof insulation is R-56 or
higher.
FITS ANY LOT
Our flexible architecture and just-in-time delivery
make the BONE Structure technology an ideal
solution for difficult locations, whether they are
space-constrained, like an urban lot, or remote
access rural terrains.
SMART HIGHWAYS
Pre-cut openings in various elements of the
structure are ready to accommodate electricity,
ventilation and heating. These “highways”
provide easy routing while simplifying installation
work and maintenance.
SURGICAL PRECISION
The 11-gauge galvanized steel components
used in a BONE Structure home are precision-
designed on 3D software and laser cut with the
same technology used to machine parts for
aircrafts and automobiles.
BONES OF STEEL
The steel structure is made to last so you will be
able to enjoy your BONE Structure home regardless
of what lies ahead. Our designs often require no
interior load-bearing walls (so no limitations),
which means a BONE Structure home is infinitely
adaptable and reconfigurable.
ACCESSORY SYSTEM
An integrated steel-spine staircase system
produces stairs which are as solid as they
are stylish. Exterior siding, patios, balconies
and pergolas are all features that can be
incorporated into the BONE Structure system
with ease.

SUNSHINE THROUGH AND THROUGH

This design is a split-level concept featuring a triple-height space with skylights above the central
staircase. The master bedroom has higher ceilings, while the kitchen and dining area are in a semi-
basement with a patio door that leads to the exterior sunken backyard.
The tunnel of light surrounding the open staircase and the split-level configuration maximize the
home’s space. There is a spare room/gym and a terrace on the street side. The backyard and open

terrace is sheltered by a BONE pergola for added privacy in an urban garden setting.

BACK

INTERIOR COURTYARD
This concept has an interior courtyard on the top floor inside the building, with double-height ceilings
in the living room and dining room. The latter features a 20-foot patio door and a glass curtain wall
leading out to a backyard BONE Structure pergola.
The staircase in the middle of the building has a large glass wall facing the interior courtyard, and
divides the main floor into a social area at the back (living room and dining room) and an accessible
bedroom at the front. The backyard pergola could be used as an extension of the kitchen with an
urban garden.

OPEN SPACE
With ample natural light provided by a cutout and double-height glass wall at the rear of the building,
the design of this home strikes a perfect balance between creative use of interior space and mood-
enhancing light. From an entrance through a mudroom and laundry room, the main floor’s social
space is open concept, with a dining room situated on the double height between the staircase and
backyard patio, and the living room further back, separated from the kitchen by a fireplace. On the
upper floor, the staircase divides the spaces, with the master bedroom at the back of the house and
the other two bedrooms at the front. The master bedroom features an open-concept bathroom to
catch natural light from the double-height glass wall.
