Position:

The Systems Engineering Student position is a great remote opportunity to work with an experienced technical
team on the design and testing of satellite communications systems built with leading edge technology.
Responsibilities:
The Systems Engineering Student will work with Systems Engineers in building and testing satellite resource
planning and management software systems. Students are initially tasked with testing, often using scripts to
automate repetitive tests. Students may also be involved in other phases of projects including requirements
capture, requirements analysis, system design, verification testing, and customer interaction.
Qualifications:
• Successful completion of three years in an Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or Computer
Engineering degree program
• The ability to integrate well into a team environment, to quickly solve complex problems and to easily
adapt to new technologies
• Experience with any of the following is considered an asset:
o Programming languages such as Java and C++
o Scripting languages such as Python and bash
o Testing of software systems
o RF circuit design
o RF test and measurement equipment
