LEADERSHIP IN PROCUREMENT

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to provides students with the foundation of the principles and
general concepts of leadership in procurement. The course aims to equip students with
knowledge that covers the overview leadership and management. Attention will be
drawn to developing skills and behaviour that contribute to effective leadership for
improving procurement and supply chain management.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Student will be able to:

 Critically evaluate the differences between Leadership and Management


 Analyse the main approaches to leadership for improving procurement and
supply chain management
 Evaluate the main skills and behaviours that contribute to effective leadership for
improving procurement and supply chain management.

 Authority, Responsibility, Accountability and Delegation
 Benefits of Delegation
 A systematic approach to Delegation
