Language Learning-We are meeting in small groups to develop stronger phonological awareness skills such as rhyming,
blending and segmenting. We will start going through the alphabet for the third time, emphasis will be placed on using our
knowledge of letter sounds to stretch out the sounds we hear to write words. In Writer’s Workshop we are working on
adding more details to our work through pictures, letters and words. Math-We are building number sense through learning
to show, describe and compare quantities of things up to 10. Social Skills and Self Awareness-We will review expected and
unexpected behaviors and the importance of understanding that everyone is unique. Please make sure students are dressed
for the weather we will go outside when it is warm enough.
