Back to School CVC Beginning Sounds Match Directions:

Print the schoolhouses/kids onto cardstock. Cut out each schoolhouse/kid
(you can cut along the shape of the schools/kids to give your center a more
polished look, or to save time you can cut along the dotted lines). I also
recommend laminating them so they will last longer. *Tip* Printing full color
games/centers uses a lot of printer ink. Check the rates at your local copy
shop (Kinko’s, UPS, ect.). Most shops can print your color copies for a
fraction of what it costs to print at home!
Students match the CVC word pictured on the kid to the schoolhouse that
has the letter it begins with.
Can also be played as a memory game.

Pass out the schoolhouses/kids to students and they find the student with
the school/kid that matches theirs - super fun game that gets the kids out
of their seats!
Also included are 4 practice pages in color and black/white versions.
