Sub: Providing NBT Books to 152 teachers.

Sir,

As you are aware the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of
Education, organizes national level function on Teachers Day on 5th September every year,
the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and conferred the National Awards to the Best
Teachers of the country selected through a transparent online three stage selection
process. For this year, the awards were presented by the Hon'ble President of India
through a webinar on 5th September 2021.

2. I am directed to state that it has been decided by this Department that NBT books
worth Rs. 10,000/- to be provided to each one of the 152 teachers who appeared before the
Jury through video conferencing for final selection. The list of detailed addresses, e-mail
ids and mobile numbers is attached for liaisioning and seek the convenience of each of the
152 teachers for selection of desired books from NBT website by each one of them before
forwarding the books to 152 teachers.

3. You are, therefore, requested to make arrangements for offering NBT books club
membership and for sending NBT books directly to all the 152-shortlisted teachers, through
speed post/courier, as per list attached. The teachers will select the books from the NBT
website and will share the list via email to NBT latest by 15th October 2021. The expenditure
incurred on books will be reimbursed by this Department to NBT. Shri Rajender Prasad,
