The Philippine community is a composition of a large percentage poor to average families

economic downfall that triggers the underpriveleged even more less fortunate to land a job making it an
impossible mission for them to afford the costly threat of medical bills. Furthermore, this crisis has been
a long overdue dilemma that up until now hasn’t been cured throughout the years by the administration
or whoever deems responsible.

Hardship was the only perfect defining term to describe the whole plot portrayed upon watching
the “Ang kwento ni Rosario”. Guilt and immense sadness were felt for the only choice they had to make
was to depend on luck that their daughter would still fight the illness for it’s clear that they cannot afford
the medication prescribed at risk that the life is at verge of death. Pressuming that they were trapped
between complacency on the mere fact of assuming a simple diarrhea won’t trigger the tragic death and
the lack of financial support.

Consistent economic degradation and wide scale unemployment are our people’s common

towards his patients for it’s on their job description to save lives, and financial concerns should be an
exclusion fit for their emerging roles.

On my personal stand, the issue here was not only the level of hardship the family has, since this

community to have a wide population for the underpriveleged, but also the uncompetitiveness and
unprofessional approach of the said Hospital. Let us keep it real, money is a vital necessity of today’s
world without a doubt. Almost all can be sold and everything can be bought due to financial stability.
However, assuming the case of Rosario, it is safe to say that Wealth is Health for a peso weighs and

worths more.

As a medical practitioner, it’s part of our job to save the lives of our patients and that’s the
primary description of our roles, if money will always come out on top that sets a barrier to save a
patient, then it’s right to assume that I’m not doing my job well and working on that type of healthcare
system is a trash needed to be disposed.
