AIM: -

➢ To select a Site (Room) in Permanent Campus and find LUX Reading


and plot contour to find variation of natural light inside room using
Luxmeter.

➢ To find sound level with window open/closed


using Sound meter.
➢ To find wind velocity inside room using Hot wire anemometer.
Note: -Due to Construction activity going on Sound reading varied

**Time of reading wad 3.15 pm to 4.15 pm on 3 Dec 2021.


**Average temperature inside room was 28.3 °C.
Observation:

❖ Illuminance(E) is higher near the window from where natural light is coming
and decrease towards the center of where, and lesser in the region in
between windows (near wall) where on diffuse internal component is
dominating.

❖ From Sound reading we observe that windows are quite effective in reducing
avg noise by 10-15 db.
❖ Wind is well within comfortable limit.
❖ With Air Conditioners and fan off the avg temperature was also well within
Comfortable limit.
