Philippines is on the path to economic recovery.

There are clear signs of rebounds in domestic

activity, community mobility, industrial output, and recently with bank lending activities. However,
there are challenges to growth with the continuing threat of the pandemic amid narrowing policy
space. The key policy challenges are to protect long term fiscal sustainability, leverage the private
sector in the recovery, and limit the economic scarring from the pandemic.

The leading problems that our country is facing are CORRUPTION and
POVERTY. To reduce poverty, the Government will need to offer more job
opportunity, they need to increase employment rate. Speaking of opportunity,
there must an equality, Jobs that not only who graduated from college, but
also, for those who have only graduated Elementary and High School.

The first is the erosion of basic needs, and the second is jobs, which are not adequately
provided for.

Necessities like food and shelter are ever-growing in cost. Until policies to increase the
supply of these necessities occurs, prices rise as demand increases with more people
entering poverty around the country.

Some jobs aren't being filled within the country because many Filipino youths prefer to find
work overseas and send money back home instead of finding a job locally at lower wages to
provide for their families better than if they were unemployed in their own country.

To me, is for the filipinos to start choosing a more competent politicians who will dedicate
his /her work for the welfare of the country and its people not lining up his/her pockets and
those who supported him/her in the election. Meaning STOP corruption from up to down
those clerks in the government and some in the private sectors too

Lack of access to education in disadvantaged communities is one issue that contributes to

systemic poverty. Education provides people with basic skills and more career options,
which can help the Philippines battle poverty.
