Materials Specification

Concrete Works

1. Aggregates for concrete shall be clean, hard, strong particles, free of absorbed chemicals, clay
and silt.

2. Coarse aggregates shall be greater than 4.75mm diameter sieve. It shall range between 9.5mm
and 37.5mm in diameter.

3. Fine aggregates be river sand or crushed stone that are less than 9.5mm in diameter.

4. Cement shall be 42.5N grade at 28days compressive strength.

5. Water shall be clean potable water free from dissolved SO 4 and other chemicals detrimental to
concrete integrity.

Structural Steel

6. All structural members shall be S275 minimum yield strength of the steel (if applicable).
7. Bolts and Nuts shall be galvanized high strength bolts.
8. All applied paints shall be anti-rust paint.
