Lesson 2 : Family Activities

Sentences Patterns:
- I and my family go for a picnic at / on the weekends.
- I would like to go for a picnic with my family.
- I would like to have a picnic in the park.
- I want to cook a meal with my family because it's
interesting. I would like to cook noodles. And also I would
like to bake cakes.
- I and my family watch a movie from time to time.
- It's amazing to dance.
- The guests I want to invite on my birthday party are my
good friends.

Question and Answer Patterns:


1. Do Jack's family usually have parties?
- Yes, they do.
2. When do they usually have parties?
- They have parties from time to time.
3. Does Jack have many guests for his parties?
- Yes, he does.
4. Does Jack have a big family?
- Yes, he does.
5. Who does Jack always invite?
- He always invites all the family members.
6. What do they usually do at the party?
- They usually watch movies and play golf.
7. What do they sometimes do?
- They sometimes go for a picnic.
8. What does Ella think of Jack's family?
- Ella thinks Jack's family is amazing.
9. When do you and your family usually have parties?
- I and my family usually have parties on birthdays.
10. What do you do at parties?
- At parties, we watch movies and dance.
Remember: When the question follows with "does" we
add "s" to the verb. (For example : "What does she like to
eat?" She likes to eat some cake.)

Talk about your family activities:

What's more, we play games together.
Moreover, we watch movies at the weekends.
