Cardiovascular Workout Log

Mr. Manning

On the workout chart below, choose six days over the course of the next two weeks to engage in
some sort of cardiovascular physical activity. A few examples include: walking, jogging, biking,
running, swimming. Be sure to mark the date, activity of choice, the distance you went, how long
it took you (at least 30min), and your heart rate at the end of your workout. You can track your
distance by an apple watch or apps like Strava, Runkeeper, RunGo, Nike Run Club, etc. To take
your heart rate, place your index and middle finger on your opposite wrist at the base of the
thumb. See how many beats occur in 15 seconds and multiply by 4. That is your heart rate.

*You do not need a gym in order to exercise- you can do this around your house, in the
backyard, at the park, or even the beach. Be sure to keep your distance from others and group
activities while completing this log.*
