Project Plan:
Title: Literary Analysis of Flamingo
Any ONE of the following can be chosen.
Analysis of the prose lessons- The Last Lesson, Lost Spring, Deep Water, The Rattrap,
and Indigo.
OR
Analysis of the poetry lessons- My Mother at Sixty-six, An Elementary School
Classroom in a Slum, Keeping Quiet, A Thing of Beauty, and Aunt Jennifer’s Tigers

Time-line: 16 December 2020 to 31 December 2020


Grouping Strategy: Groups will have 5 students each.
Medium of Presentation: PowerPoint Presentation
Outline of the Project: The projects must follow the following outline-
• Multicultural perspectives shown in the textbook
• Variety of the vocabulary used in different lessons
• A brief summary of the lessons
• Themes covered in the lessons
• Writing Style/ Literary Devices
• Analysis of the illustrations (pictures) given in the lessons
• Analysis of the exercises given with the lessons

How you will work-


• The project should be made in the groups of 5-6 students.
• The work should be divided equally among the group members.
• Each group member can choose to work on analysing one lesson.
