    Our school took students to see short films at the Cervantes Theatre. There were multiple schools in attendance and each act consisted of no more than 30 minutes of shorts. In total, four shorts were watched that aimed to send messages about how to act in difficult situations, such as not trusting strangers as shown in one short where a child helps an adult but gets betrayed. The student found it to be a great, unique activity that was well organized and something they would be open to doing again.

    THE SHORT FILMS

    Our school took us to see some short films at the cervantes theatre last month. There
    was more than one school and each act it was no longer than 30 minutes. We watched
    four shorts.

    In the theatre there were a lot of people, it was almost complete. They put a big
    screen on the stage. The actors in each short spoke in english but there were subtitles
    in spanish to read those words or phrases that we did not understand.

    The objective from my point of view was that each short send a message about how
    people should act in difficult or dangerous situations. The short in which the child lends
    his phone and money to an adult but later is betrayed is an example of that you should
    never trust someone you don’t know.

    Finally in my opinion it was a great activity because is not usual to do. The organization
    was excellent and I will not mind to repeat it some day.
